Do you guys think i am capable of making a commercial game in a month. I am very new to game dev but i want to release a commercial game costing 1$. It will be similar to my other games but it will be more polished and use better art .please use games i have realeased on my profile as a reference

If your goal is to release a $1 quality game? Probably. You're main issue will be finding a premise that is unique enough people will want to spend a dollar on it, as well as making sure you market the game well on social media.

I think it is possible, as long as you follow the trends/styles:

- Super Mario

- Sonic

- Furry Porn

- Minecraft

- FNAF

- Backrooms

- homo or trans , or both

- Zombie FPS

- Disney/Marvel and what not

edit: if you make anything pornographic, it should even sell in GameDev communities. Less marketing efforts required. People actually search for that stuff. Anything else you have to spam the entire internet to get a handful of players... over the period of 10 years, lol

The chances of writing a commercially successful game in one month, even if you have all the skills required, are about the same as the chances of winning the lottery.  It often happens to somebody - every lottery has its winners - but it probably won't happen to you.

Looking at your previous games, you probably don't have the skills yet, so your chances are probably closer to the chances of winning the lottery without buying a ticket.

i don't want to make a successful commeracial. I just want to make a game which can sell 50 copies

There is no magic formula to make a commercially successful game. It needs a truly well-made game + lots of advertising/marketing + some amount of luck.  And the fact that you are willing to sell your game for only one dollar tells me selling and marketing seem not to be your strong sides. One dollar doesn't even cover basic expenses (for itch.io and for Paypal for instance). And what does one month mean? Why must it be one month? The time needed depends mainly on your project and your skills. We don't know about either, how should we judge? And what about your resilience? Do you throw away a project at the first difficulty or do you work on it until all problems are solved? If you like making games, do it for fun; if they sell, good; otherwise you still had fun making them. If you want to make money from game-making get the necessary skills and seek work at a game studio.

You should charge at least $2 to cover fees etc.

The first thing I notice about your games is that their presentation is very basic. The cover image is just text on a solid background, and the page itself has no screenshots or other images. If you want people to even consider buying, even at such a low price, you need to at least have a more exciting cover picture and some screenshots of the game itself.

the cover images are lacking as all my till now have been jam games

Yeah I suspected that, just wanted to mention it because it can be easy to forget, or gloss over because you know what's in your game. I have to remind myself "other people don't know anything about this, you have to show them"

thanks,man

My short answer is: YES.

This same answer but longer is: Look at the amazing indie games that's here in Itch.io. Now, look at you - you are the exact same species, or race, as who built whatever indie game is it. So where is the logic when i say that you is not capable to do whatever another person already did (in the past)? You just have to know well, where you want to reach - how is the game you want to make.

If you need help with something, feel free to tell us, so we will help you.

Yes, that could be done. But how long will take from you? A month? Look, I don't like this kind of idea. If your game needs from you more time ..... give it more. don't rush polish it well, sent some beta for test. Your idea could be brilliant but your mistake could kill it.

I haven't looked at the other games on your account but just by the question itself I'd say that it depends on how big the game is and how much dedication you have to make the game.
