Can you tell me about games that either fine or bad but loved by a lot of people and you don't understand why

Animal Crossing. There's nothing to do if you're bad at design and don't care about collecting all the to be honest pretty boring collectibles in game 

Agree with Ponydragon. Minecraft for sure.  Most disappointing games I've played are Star wars battlefront 2 (2017). The originals were great!!

Fable 3. The first game in the series was far superior in my opinion 

GTA V. Decent but couldn't get into it enough to finish it when it first came out havnt touched it since.

Neverwinter nights 2. Hyped up to be a competitor to Oblivion. Not even close. Not even comparable to NWN 1 which still holds up today and has a large fanbase .

Pretty much any yearly release does it for me. Hot take, I know.
