Hello fellow Game Developers and Pixel Art Enthusiasts!

I'm planning to create a new free series of pixel art assets and would love to hear what you need the most. Whether you're working on your next big game or just looking to expand your pixel art collection, your opinion matters!

1. What type of pixel art assets do you need the most?

  • Swords
  • Runes
  • Tilesets
  • Character sprites
  • Items/Objects
  • Environments
  • Others (please specify)

2. What resolution do you prefer for your projects?

  • 8x8 pixels: Perfect for minimalist games, icons, or simple objects. Quick to animate but limited in detail.
  • 16x16 pixels: Ideal for character sprites, tilesets, and smaller objects. Good balance between detail and simplicity.
  • 32x32 pixels: Provides more room for details and complex animations. Suitable for more detailed characters and objects.
  • 64x64 pixels and higher: For highly detailed characters, large objects, and background graphics. Lots of room for details but requires more effort to create.
  • 128x128 pixels and higher: For extremely detailed characters, intricate objects, and expansive background graphics. Allows for very high detail but requires significant effort to create.

3. Do you have any specific wishes or suggestions?

I'm really excited to hear your ideas and look forward to creating assets that help with your projects. Let's create some amazing pixel art together!

Thank you so much for your support and feedback!

Best regards,  Arijkx

1. TBH, I need full set so having only one set would make my game look bad with its mismatching sprites or graphics. So I choose these:

  • Tilesets
  • Character sprites
  • Items/Objects
  • Environments

2. 64x64 pixels and higher would be fine for me.

3. If possible, I'd like character sprites to be in parts so I could mix n match them. And for background environments, I prefer them to be tilable so I could control the length of my levels.

Character/enemy sprites are always good. Even simple animal or monster sprites.

I think effect sprites are extremely helpful as well, effects such as fire/smoke/magic etc…
