minor annoyances

The chicken minigame doesn't tell you you have to drop each chicken individually, in the maze ive had them literally teleport directly into me which makes it pretty freaking hard to do anything. I can't solve any of the secrets.

You can pick up multiple chickens, you just have to press the action button on the pot enough times to drop off however many chickens you've picked up. I managed to drop off 37 chickens and that was pretty much all at once.

im aware, the problem stated was that it doesn't mention that fact, i assumed by pressing it once i dropped all the chickens in my inventory instead of only 1 of them, since you can't pause to check your inventory i had no way to confirm otherwise until i lost.

Developer

Sorry for the annoyances, fellas.
The chicken game does mention "remember to drop them into the pot!" but I could be clearer about the mechanics, so I'll fix that up for the next patch.

As for the maze, they usually teleport when you've hit a dead end. They'll also teleport at certain points since the event path finding in RPGMMV is ASS and that was my workaround to keep them on your tail.

The maze thing makes sense, excluding the massive and annoying amount of dialogue you have to go through each time, not to mention that the maze is huge and you can't save, id rather they just get stuck and allow me to cheese my way through because otherwise i have to fully remember every path in all the maze maps which is just tedious, its not hard nor difficult its tedious. which to be fair most mazes kinda are. its just worse when you are forced to full reset through a ton of dialogue each time.

Developer

That's a good point. I'll see about reworking the maze thing from the ground up to allow more time to explore, probably put the save at the end of the dialogue or add a skip function.  I appreciate the feedback! It can be really hard to properly judge the difficulty when I'm starting with the answer.

That is Completely fair, game dev is hard, i once took 2 weeks just to recreate snake and it was still bug filled, so minor things like slip by i get it. Btw is the button in storage supposed to do anything cause i pressed it and nothing happened.

Developer

That one might be bugged. Normally you interact with the button, then you can push the empty crate around, but if you drink two milk you should be heavy enough to press it without messing with the crate.
But I've had reports of that not working, so I'm going to see if I can fix it

maybe its becuase i had the weight before i interacted with the button, which means i skipped the first interaction and thus bugged it?

Developer

Ooh, that sounds super likely, I bet that's what's happening. I'll test it a bit more and see what happens. Good catch!

Maybe make the chickens a little easier to catch, too? 5 attempts in, and I gave up.

Developer

I think I could add a switch to slow the chickens down.

That would be greatly appreciated

The Chicken minigame is just an actual hassle honestly dont love the feel of it

The clown game feels incredibly rough to do

too little time in the pattern game even with help of screen shots namely the last one

maze way too punishing having to start from the beginning every time.

all of those are in bugs and feedback thankfully well excluding the chicken minigame.

The game of catching chickens is too difficult.

I give up.

I played your game with the simulator, and I wanted to keep playing, but I kept getting stuck with 15 chickens. It's too painful without a computer. Three days, I'm going crazy.
