Greetings,

I am currently a bit lost at the moment. I just "finished" the swamp fairy "boss" fight. I immediately returned to the area and purified the zone and got the rewards for doing so. I slept and got attacked by the assassin at night and went to Innis and got told to hunt down another large oak monster. What I am stuck on is that I cannot find another oak monster. Did I break the game by immediately returning to purify the zone?

No, you shouldn't have.

There are three tree monsters which appear on the world map.

They all appear during the game's event triggers, especially if Innis told you to go after them.

Did you go into the cave and defeat the boss within the fairy swamp

Yes I defeated the boss then immediately returned and purified the area after, I returned to town and slept. Then got attacked by the assassin and then slept til dusk. Talked to Innis got told about needing another oak. And now have scoured the map looking for one. I already got the ones located just outside of the village and the one by the druid's forest area. It seems the Oak that is east of the swamp is missing?

Fixed!

There was an event trigger that was missing from the battle.

Since you have completed it, go and speak with the priest within the village temple and it will allow for the next event trigger to call forth the next tree monster you need to fight.

Please let me know if this works as intended.

I managed to do it without the patch, I was testing it before your patch came out and I forgot to talk to the priest after purifying the swamp then it spawned the tree when I talked to him.

Yeah, there is a bug, I just did exactly what they did, and did not fight the tree right away and went back into the fairy forest after killing the assassin in bed and the tree disappeared after purifying the fairy swamp before i could kill it.

I don't know if this is a bug, but does each dream sequence occur for each rune piece you get? Because you get the second one the same night the assassin attacks you in bed, so I've never seen the second dream just the first and third.

Yes, though you can miss them if you get the runes too quickly.
