I made an effort to try to grow on the platform, it seems like it wasn't enough, I left the packages very cheap, I hope you like them :(

A few tips:

  1.  Having a product on the market does not guarantee demand. Do your research and figure out what assets people like and what gaps in the market exist.
  2. The assets I make the most money from are set as "pay what you want". If people like art, they often will donate to the artist to support them. Additionally, many people may not outright buy an asset pack from an unknown artist because they're worried about being scammed. Being able to download the pack for free means they can check the product is legit before paying for it.
  3. Make as many asset packs as you can. Focus on creating a variety of different things in different styles. Track what is most popular and focus on providing more of it.
  4. And most importantly, don't expect to make a living from this. If you do, you will be disappointed and frustrated. Make and sell assets for game development because you love the process and like working with game devs. This is a really fun and rewarding hobby if you stick with it, but you need to be doing it with the right mindset.

Thank you for your feedback, and that I spent a whole month working on an inventory project when I realized that it was an area little explored here but it didn't make any sales, I still went ahead with the work to launch it on the auction sale but honestly it was frustrating not having at least one sale, I'll think about the tips you gave me and try to improve my art

I guess that's just one of the disadvantages with a big site like itch.io, your works can drown in all the other content out there. I had the same experience when I signed up for the GMTK game jam, I made a game I'm proud of, and I felt it didn't get the attention it deserved because there were just so many thousands of other (really good) games out there.

I guess just keep trucking and making stuff, eventually you'll probably make a name for yourself. Also it helps to promote yourself in various (non-intrusive) ways. I really like your style, by the way. If it fit the mood of the game I was making I'd gladly use your assets.

Hello Vitor! Keep trying man, do some research in the store, see what type of product has the most demand and best reviews, try looking for a specific niche too, it's a risky bet, but it's still worth a try.

    10 days is not enough...

I really like your realistic style.

    Take a longer break.

And come back to art when you feel like enjoying it again. It's a marathon, not a sprint.
