A really great game. Thank you!

Amazed by the really cute artstyle, really well polished and good use of envirnmental decorations. The controls were a bit confusing, having space as dash and W jump had me dying many times. I think the visibility thing is a really nice touch, also being the main character a candle, loved it, but it becomes unplayable at low health because enemies are too fast and you have no time to react to them.
Overall nice entry!

Very fun! The controls for jumping and dashing feel a bit strange, but that's okay—overall, it's good.

I really love the mechanic of the mouse on fire that illuminates the darkness and can light up candles; it's a fantastic feature.

However, the game could benefit from checkpoints. It's really hard to keep playing when you have to start all over after dying, especially in a challenging game (maybe It is a skill issue...).

The game is pretty good but I feel like it has a few issues. A lot of the deaths I faced were really sudden and hard to counter. The stiff jumping combined with losing any amount of health meant that if you take even a single hit you're pretty much doomed. But over time the game did grow on me. I had fun with it but there was admittedly a decent bit of annoyance along the way. If you refined this a bit it could probably be pretty great!

Pretty Good Game! But I Didn't Understand When The Mouse Fires? Is It Random Or You Flick The Mouse? Overall Nice Game! Can You Try Mine?

Developer

when you aim the mouse arrow to an object in fire, the object shares the fire with a mouse and the mouse is burning

I see how much work you put into this production, the art is really good and killing animations are very satisfying, I agree with the guy below that checkpoints should be added into this game

Very nice metroidvania! I liked the difficulty and the design!

I feel like the jump could have been a bit better, like a little less gravity and the variability of how long you press the button.

Very nice job!

Cute art and animations. Challenging from the start could be eased with checkpoints and more hints —well done!

Neat little Metroidvania you did really well considering the time the art is really cute and I   loved the animations for each of the different attacks  I also liked the cutscene at the start which helps with the story.

Though it did suffer from punishing platforming and difficult enemies from the first level onwards, a checkpoint system would probably help this be less harsh(if the jump was variable heights depending on how long you pressed down the jump button could greatly help the platforming aspect of your game-similar to hollow knights jump).  The variety of enemies you managed to add was also a great thing to see.   Well done, this was a very cool little game!

The art is amazing and I love the health to light mechanic. The jump felt kinda off I think it could've been a bit less gravity.

Nice little metroidvania. Loved the character design.

The platforming felt a little punishing because of the physics (the first ladder was a special challenge to climb without falling), which is understandable being the time constraints of a jam. Our game suffers from that too.

I think it couldve smoothed a little with more checkpoints (now that I reflect on it, I may add some in my platformer too if I get the time!).

The light mechanic was really well implemented. And the amount of enemies you managed to add is really remarcable!

cheers!
