Impressive, really liked the atmosphere, music and grapincs, tower integration is also well-made, seems like i played a demo version of game, made not for a jam, nice time killer, maybe someone would like to play it on smartphone

Also i think it would be great to make lumin more tired and going crazy day after day, but you are the artist, just thought that lightkeeper's job is not an entertainment, good job and again well made you have a potential

Developer(+1)

That’s a great idea to show how tired Lumin is.

After several nights, he would naturally get more and more exhausted.

And yeah, after playing other games, this one feels more like a demo than a jam.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback!

Not a bad little game, simple but a nice time-killer. The 2 issues I had were the targets going behind the UI, it meant I had to wait for them to emerge to attack, and it's almost too dark to see the them at times, which I know is likely intended, but it might be just a little too dark.

I really liked the portrait animations for the dialogue, those were really well done.

Thanks for playing!

Regarding the UI, sometimes it does obscure vision, but the impact is pretty minimal. With time running out, I decided to stick with it.

As for the darkness, I intended it to be hard to see so that players would be encouraged to buy light upgrades and constantly check the sea.

Anyway, thanks again for your feedback!

Ooh ok, that's my fault for not playing long enough to get the light upgrades. I will replay and give it more tim

The narrative behind is the highlight of the game! I really liked it!

Developer

Happy to hear you enjoyed the story!

Really fun game! It's simple but addictive with a nice style, a cool little narrative element, and can get actually pretty intense and stressful later on. The sounds are a bit quiet but I just cranked up my volume. Although maybe add a clock for the time left in the night because I never really even got a good grasp of how long they last by night 5.

If you could try out my game as well I'd really appreciate it!

Thank you for your feedback!

I just tried your game a few minutes ago. It was pretty fun, but I found it a bit too hard for me (I'm just not very good at shooting games...).

Excellent idea! I think you did an amazing job with the user interface and the narrative sequences. The gameplay was very well done and I had a lot of fun playing.

Nice game, I really like various upgrades and the plot gives this game an unique vibe

Glad you like the story.

Really like the enemy designs. The hand monsters that flip you off are just chef’s kiss

Developer (1 edit)

Oh, you notice it...

Thanks for playing.

Cool shooting! The nights take quite a while to get through though, if you condense the game loop a bit, I feel it would be a more action-packed experience.

Developer(+1)

In the game loop, I really wanted to implement that feature, but time was running out. Still, thank you for your compliment!
