A good game that meets all the requirements of a game jam. However, I found several shortcomings: 1) If you dash into an enemy near a wall, the enemy or hero can pass through it and get stuck. 2) The blackness that hides the level change does not hide the entire screen. 3) The attack range is small (you can increase the attack range and the number of enemies, then it will be both convenient and difficult to play)

Thanks, i tried my best to not put any other color even with post process being allowed lol

1)I think if i made the dash have no collision to the enemies it would be better than just a way to progress faster, and remove those bugs

2) i have literally no idea why that happens, the animation in the editor looks fine, the code looks fine, idk what atrocious bug caused this but atleast it doesnt affect gameplay

3)That is something i wish i had done since so many people commented that 😓

Very cool! I would suggest making the player's attack range much bigger as it was nearly impossible to hit any enemies. Also some feedback on attacks would go a long way. Was very enjoyable and had a clever concept. Good job!

Yeah ive been getting alotta people talking about the attack range being too small i should have thought of that 😓

An enjoyable game. I would only recommend making the player's hit range further away as it is currently much too difficult to hit the enemies without being hit yourself.

Hey, the game is really fun! I loved the smooth implementation of the dash ability. A bit of feedback: I think that some visual or sound clues for when you successfully hit an enemy are needed. Many times I wasn't sure if I managed to hit an enemy. Now, truthfully I am pretty bad at this types of games, and I could only play using a keyboard and a touchpad now, but it was really hard for me to hit monsters without being hit myself. Maybe you could increase the player's weapon range just slightly? But then again, I may just be bad at the game haha. Overall, I had a great time, I really liked the deign of the flying monsters. Good luck on your future projects!

The game is indeed hard even i struggled sometimes, in a level i made a nerf wich removed half of the enemies and it was still a bit challenging so thats on me sorry  🥲

Very fun while in combat. It seems like all the enemies rush you on spawn, which means you have to kill them quickly, but the rest of the level is a bit empty. Would be cool to see a little more enemy variety and different weapon types!

One of the things ill certainly add if i make enemies is making them only work when close to the player.
