What a cool game. Definitely a marvel this was done in a week. The face you used claymation is commendable, I love that Hylics vibe. The music was cool too. Finding out you can directionally throw knives was cool too, though it should have been stated explicitly somewhere.

I personally would look into physics of jumps a little bit tho. But maybe it's just my preferences.
Ah yes the platforming seems to be the main complaint, I thought i follow the principles of good jumping and its to my liking, but i think thats just cause im use to it. are you able to identify what feels janky to it?
I may be wrong, but is 'movement-while-in-the-air-speed' always the same and after certain point character falls back with the same speed? It feels like you bump into something.

Love your characters design.
The claymation gives it such a unique style, especially in combination with the 1 bit colour palette.
Difficulty could feel pretty unforgiving at times but still very achievable.
The camera movement could feel a bit jarring at times when switching movement direction, so would be nice to see that tweaked slightly.
Would love to see this world expanded upon, or at least something in the same style.
I loved Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts, and this game scratched the right itch! Very cool game!
Cool characters! They feel almost like they're taken from clay models rather the 3D renders
Its cause they are made with clay models! Every single asset in game is either made with clay, miniature models or in the case of the fire, actual video footage
I expected a serious and dark game because of the intro and the second i saw the animation and sound effects for walking i had a laugh, the artstyle is incredibly creative and the gameplay was fun, I loved it
Really cool ! Had the Ghost's n Goblins feeling from the start. The work on animation with clay is impressive. Controls are a bit stiff and jump over fires are really hard.

Really fun graphics! I like the way you can switch with the 1 key. It was a bit hard to get past the first levels due to the camera and the enemies, but I enjoyed it!

I silently followed the art process on the discord and it is such a fun and creative way of creating graphics. super nice. the game was fun, had a few clunky moments but overall I enjoyed it a lot. the color changing on the final level was really cool, but I think you can exclude low contrast colors to not interfere with the visibility. such a fun creative game, great job.

Great game! I like the ClayFighter style graphics and the story presentation. The music & SFX are well done too. One issue I have is the enemy placement can be too punishing & its hard to react in time.

This is such a good entry. The claymation art style is right up my alley, and the theme of the game itself is really clever. The platforming bits sometimes felt a bit glitchy, but overall, this is truly a solid entry. Nicely done!
I loved this! I've had my eye on this game from the discord server and it surpassed my expectations. I especially liked how the main characters face would deform more between the levels, really adds to the feeling. Overall great game!
Very well made. Movement felt kinda clunky but this was alleviated a lot by having four firing angles for your daggers. It was challenging but never too difficult (appart from some witches that were placed at an awkward angle).

I think increasing the main character's acceleration and top horizontal speed would do wonder in that regard. Dodging projectiles mid-air is not always possible due to the character jumping way faster than he can strafe
