Beautiful art.

Thank you!

I liked the color palette and commands were simple to use. The only thing is that if you keep shootin, you are not risking anything because all asteroids are destroyed before the have the chance to deal damage. I think it would be much more fun if it would be more challenging.

But that was a good experience overall. :)

Yep, true, balance was the last thing i had to do, but i ran out of time

The art was really nice and the gameplay was pretty good. I ran into quite a few bugs while playing. Nice work though!

Thank you !!

Nice pixel art :)

Developer

thank you, that’s my specialty !

The game has good pixel art and great music, i just think that the big ship is way to op so there isnt a need to eject the parts

Developer

yep, agreed, that’s something that needs fixing ! thanks

I love the pixel art!

Developer

thank you very much !

Really cool concept with ejecting parts of the ship.

Think I encountered a bug where the asteroids started breaking up automatically in a chain reaction just as the difficulty was ramping up.  So it never felt as necessary for me to use the smaller ships, but I love the whole idea around it and would love to see the idea taken further.

Great pixel art and love the palette choice.

Thanks, yeah I didn’t have the time to do the balancing haha thanks for playing !

Pretty simple but competently made. It's a bit sad that the game's difficulty curve never allow it to shine mechanically, the starting ship is simply too good (in all fairness, the small ship is also good enough to handle practically anything).

What's there is absolutely worthy of praise however, I'd love to see what you can make with this if you come back to it. Neat entry

Developer

thank you, i only worked on this for a few hours unfortunately, and i’m definitely coming back to it when i get some more time

I loved the spaceship art, and destroying meteors was fun and satisfying with crispy sounds and particles.

I never had to start becoming small,  the big ships fire power was more then enough to destroy all the meteors, and it made the mechanic not relevant.

overall I love the art and feel of the game, and would like to have more of a reason to use the eject mechanic.

Developer

yeah, the point was to force the player to use it but i didn’t have the time to balance out the difficulty, i will update the game at a later date so that it makes some sense

thanks, i’m glad you liked it

Very good game, the graphics look really nice. Though there seems to be a weird pause in the music, I don't know if it was meant to be looped or only played once.

Developer(+1)

what happened there is that i used BeepBox to make the short song in about 5 minutes, and it exported with a long silence in the file, so the song technically repeats correctly but the silence in the song itself is a bug haha, i uploaded the version with the sounds at the last minute (that i was able to work on it), around 1hr before the deadline so i didn’t catch it

thanks for the compliments !

The game looks very polished, the art is really crisp and nice. I like the mechanic of ejecting, fits pretty well to the theme.

Developer

thank you, i’m glad you liked it, i hoped i would have time to make it even juicier, it wouldn’t have taken that long but i was out of time

Gorgeous art, that purplish/maroon is definitely a very nice touch. Gameplay was easy to understand and have a little fun with, definitely arcade like. Great job!

Developer

thank you very much !
