That's great! It was much easier to go through all the room, even if the top left one still had the warning after beating it.

That new cursor helps a lot. :)

I was able to go further into the game thanks to those change, compared to previous version.

Thanks for your feedback. :)

It was fun to try to stay little and avoid all those clouds. :)

I'm not sure about the theme presence though. Is it because the character can shrink ?

That was an interesting survival game. I just wish the character followed the mouse pointer while holding the left button, but that was easy to use nonetheless. :)

Unfortunately I played on the web version and I still have the same problem. I played in full-screen. I've tried on both of my computers which are on Windows 10.

Thanks for trying it! :)

Unlike some platformers of this jam that let's you with nothing till the levels end, this one gives you the opportunity to experiment the level with lesser and lesser options. It's a good way to teach players to progress with what is available. This is some sort of life lesson and it was nice to experiment!

That's a great level design! Graphics and music were nice too. I enjoyed it quite a lot and made it to the end. I can rest in peace now. :)

I really wish I could play in good conditions because it was promising, but when I talk to the NPCs, the textbox displays "dummy test" and it's totally blocked, I can't do anything and I have to close the game...

The pixel art was really awesome! I also liked the narration and the ability to make different choices, event if I wonder if they have an impact on the ending.

And that's a gameboy game so that's great! (by the way, I tried to run it with VisualBoyAdvance, but the music was bad on it, I wonder why)

It was really interesting to use the mouse to draw line and to be able to move objects like that!

Graphics were simple but effective, it helps to see what we draw and to focus on the level design.

(1 edit)

Even if it was unfinished, there are interesting things to notice. The speed decreases and we have to choose the good path in order not to be blocked or slowed considerably (like in the long stairs). But level design wise, I think some efforts could have been done to really reward the player taking risks to be sooner at the finish line. There's something to exploit here.

I can't comment on the graphics as they are too basic. Next time you should at least use free assets that you could modify a bit if you want, if art is not your best.Or even better, team up with someone.

I'm sure you'll do better next time. The game development is a long journey that can be very gratifying. :)

This game has a cool vibe!

I fired wildly but I wasn't sure if I had hit or not, it seemed like there were still a lot of enemies chasing me.

No problem! It's always good to have other people vision on something we created.

OK, I was gathering those samples, but I didn't know how many I should take nor what to do with them. I think it could be better with something like a HUD that updates the objectives.

I'm glad I could help! Don't hesitate if you want more feedback later. :)

That was really fun! It's so true how things can evolve during game development, starting with only squares to test movements and collisions, then discover strange behaviours after changing one line of code.

Thank you, that was a great experience. :)

It was good to see a game with that amount of humor!

Thanks God for the help! I wish more point & clicks give us hints, instead of being stuck for a long time, trying to figure out what (il)logic thing we need to do to progress.

That was fun! I wonder how he can still move without arms and legs, he must have very good abs.

The game crashed after losing the brain. I suppose it was the next logic step, haha.

Very original game and interesting story!

I'ts not that easy to keep a good balance but life is what it is after all. :)

I love this kind of spell casting where we have to create our own spells! Very good atmosphere also. It really was like a magical world.

However, it was a bit annoying to switch between symbols. I think it needs to be more fluid and intuitive because it took me a while to find what I was looking for.

Apart from that I didn't manage to get to the end, and yet I thought about it for a while (I managed to open the book, but I can't yet understand the logic of the symbols) . With the additional clues on the game page, I tried other things but I'm still struggling a bit (maybe I'm stupid, haha).

I know a friend who loves magic and would be interested in a game like this. :)

Thank you for this great experience!

It reminds me of the Game & Watch!

That was a nice arcade game. :)

That was a great platformer!

I felt it was intuitive to wall jump. Then I learned to jump and dash diagonaly and it became really fun. :)

Very original concept! I think it would be a nice game to learn key positions. :)

The gameplay was really fun with all those available tools! It's just sad we have to say goodbye to each of them, but at least the theme is well respected.

The graphics and sound were cute.

That was really great! Thanks for that experience. :)

I think there are some good ideas like shooting an explosive barrel or even sliding. The punch has a short range though, and it would have been nice to be able to crouch to avoid some of the bullets.

Oh, and it would be cool to have some checkpoints because starting from the begining each time is a bit annoying.

Anyway, the story was interesting. :)

At first I was a bit confused, but in fact it was really fun!

The cool thing was to be able to steal from the enemy. Also the music stayed in my head for a while, and it was a good one. :)

I can understand that. I wish it was sometimes clearer in how the shape generates. And most of all, it lacks a tutorial, haha.

Thank you for your feedback! :)

It was an interesting idea to play with the change of color while reflecting the projectiles!

I found it hard however to destroy the targets.

I wish I could rate 10 stars for the Art direction!

I think the attack should deal more damage, because those slimes seemed impossible to kill, haha. Anyway, that was a nice platformer. :)

That was fun. :)

The teleporter was very interesting, I wish it was used more often.

Good little platformer. :)

The fact that we can choose the level is nice!

It was really short indeed, but it was fun! :D

It's an interesting idea!

The type of game where you need a good short term memory. :)

It’s a very original idea and I really liked it! I just wonder why some platforms can't be used after touching them, it got hard very quickly.

Other than that, there was a good atmosphere. It was fun to see the scenery move to the music. :)

I think it would be better to have a little momentum while jumping, but it was a good little platformer nonetheless.

Graphics were cute by the way. :)

I must say first that I love the way all the noises create music!

It was not too hard, but not too easy as well. It's a good balance. I had fun playing it. :)

I didn't understand at first how to shoot, but when I get it, it was really fun!

Movements are fluid and I was surprised how I could avoid pretty easily the projectiles coming from different directions.

That was great! I loved the atmosphere of the game. :)

The commands were easy to learn and it was fun to try to free all the prisonners.

My duty as a wizard has been accomplished. I saved 28 people! (until they get eaten by monsters...)

I like the fact that we can move to right and left, to avoid attacks.

The descriptions of items were funny! :)

I think you need to upload the .pck as well as .exe that are created during export in Godot. :)

It was an interesting idea! And the game looks cute.

I just don't know how to use items, even by choosing arrow keys it does nothing... :/
