That was a great platformer!
I felt it was intuitive to wall jump. Then I learned to jump and dash diagonaly and it became really fun. :)
Our two games have a very similar concept, but two very different implementations. Whereas I opted for an extremely old-school platformer, this game is a platformer+ with all the bells and whistles. The character art and animation are just wonderful, and the intro was really funny. Overall, a nicely made game and a solid entry to the jam. It took a very long time to load, though.
Love how the tutorial is one way and the game is the other. Character animation is great. It took a while to load in my browser. Firefox crashed in mid-jump but not blaming the game—I had many tabs open.

Intro made me actually lol. His falling animation really resonated with how I feel, generally. All in all fun little adventure. I may have clicked too quickly at the very end and the text overwrote so I couldn't read it, so drop me a spoiler with what I missed :D
my favorite part is when he said "it's gronglin' time" and he grongled all over the place
