This was cool! I didn’t always quite get the connection between the music and what was happening (but didn’t have much time to dwell on that, obviously)

Thanks for putting in my track, I'm really glad I got to contribute to this awesome game!

I've already said as much on discord, but there's a lot to love here. The movement is tight and feels fair, obstacles have great variety, and the visuals are juicy as heck.

Pausing every 20 seconds is an interesting take on the constraint of the jam. It might be frustrating to some as it interrupts the music, but it also leads to frequent "saved by the bell" moments that I haven't experienced in similar generative games.

My only suggestion for the game is still a track selector, as it'd be cool to have an easier way to hear every song. If that goes against the design though, I totally get it.

Congrats on finishing the game! Great job!

Thanks for letting me use your song! Also that “saved by the bell” is what i’m going for, so it’s good people understood that!

I really worked hard on this game and especially with the visuals since I love art and animation.

Hope I can start playing other jam games soon! :)

Thanks!

I think the time's up message means I survived, which is good.  I like the game's visual style a lot and the music was fun.  Nice work!

I found this game very challenging. I think the music and the art match up well for this game.

I felt like when going to the top of the screen to continue I would no know what is coming and be in a bad spot. Maybe showing ahead a little would help with that.

Developer

Thank you, I made this game really hard.

The point of the camera moving up is so you can see ahead when reaching the top, but I guess it needs some work, thanks for the feedback!

Very polished game, it took me a while to realise that when you stay alive it keeps playing  the same music, by reading the messages I felt like I was doing something wrong, its a visually clean game and didnt felt unfair when losing, good job.

yeah…I see some people confuse the winning screen to a losing screen, still glad you enjoyed it! I took a lot of my time developing in polishing everything out of this game!

Your game offers an engaging experience with its multitude of levels and exceptionally responsive character movement. Navigating through the various levels feels incredibly satisfying, thanks to the fluidity and precision of the character's controls. The sense of control and agility adds a layer of enjoyment to each level, making exploration and overcoming challenges a truly rewarding experience. I came across an audio glitch during a specific level where the music didn't play, and, in addition, hazards within the level failed to pose any threat. Fortunately, this issue was a one-time occurrence.

I appreciate the captivating game cover with its stylish camera shake and shooting effect. It complements the gameplay seamlessly, creating a visually pleasing aesthetic. Overall, it was a highly enjoyable experience! Well done!

Thank you! This is my biggest project so far and I’m really happy people like it a lot!

This is an amazing game, the enemy obstacles look phenomenal and the game feels really cool to play. Plus the music is as said in the intro; awesome! With that being said, I wish the "time's up" screen was more dynamic. The abruptness of it makes it feel like you lost rather than surviving for the full 20 seconds, which makes for a very odd gameplay flow. Making that time's up screen punchier, would make this game actually perfect

Thank you for your feedback, I see the winning screen has this common criticism, thanks a lot!

I think having a screen shake and an associated sound effect for the winning screen would be simple and make for a bigger impact
