Fun game!! Managed to finish it in 10.00 secs! The mechanic feels really cool, like a human pin ball :) I didn't really use the bounce mechanic because I got way better times by just sliding along the walls. Sometimes my boost seemed to run out fast even though I gave it full power (close to the yellow line) I really liked the meta speedrunning lore :D Are the highscores actual players?
Oh, thankyou for the feedback!! I always like to hear about what strategies people settle on to play the game Unfortunately the highscores aren't actual players, though...man, that WOULD be fun if we could afford a server...
Still can't beat the boss, tonight I have to try with a controller as suggested! I will get there. The lance mechanic is a great idea and both art style and music make you wanna play this game more and more. Do you plan to expand on this? I can easily see how addictive it becomes with more levels. Why do <i have to go to work now?!?! hahaha
That's so nice, thank you! Couldn't have done it without Anon Alpaca (art) and Craig Henderson (music). No plans for expansion right now, but you never know🙂.
I loved the lore you built around the game, and how you imagine your interface to present the controls, clever :). The game is straightforward but hard to master, very fun and adapted to the 20s time scope. The music and art are great too, good job !
heck yeah, I'm glad you enjoyed it!! perhaps you will get one and a half seconds on screen in a History of Journey of the Odyssey speedrunning video essay

Really creative, love the UI design!
I really like the creativity of that implementation.
But I am 100% not good :D
Love the speed running theme.

Thank you RedFox3dMaker
It was all anonalpa's idea💃
Took me a while to figure out how to beat the boss, but once I got it I got it. 18.58, but I'm sure I could shave off a few seconds if I tried

Pretty simple and yet still containing the complexity of the mechanic. I like everything in this game.
Thank you!!!
