Your team has done an amazing job, really. I've found this game to be very fun, pretty addictive, and extremely polished.
The challenges and the in-game feedback made it engaging and well worth trying to complete them.
I've encountered no bugs at all, and was able to get the 100k score on my second playthrough 8).
I really enjoyed the 10k score gun too, gives you an unstoppable feeling.
My only comment would be the red flash that happens when you get hit. It's too frequent, specially when you're getting hit by a lot of enemies to the point you cant see what's going on.

It feels very polished through both the UI elements and gameplay that I’d never be able to guess that it was made in a week.
I would love the ability to disable the VCR effect, but the graphics are so good it’s barely noticeable.

I liked this game! Pros: Good SDK integration, you’ve trained well since the last jam =) The interaction dynamics are well-developed. The particle system works well.
Cons: The VHS effect is very jarring to the eyes, it would be nice if you added an option to turn it off in the settings. I understand the intention of using the VHS effect to create a retro immersion, but it might help to consider alternative ways to emphasize the retro aesthetic that feels more unique to your game.
P.S. Note that I didn’t want to criticize your creation too much and didn’t write a comment without understanding your game mechanics. I tried to constructively highlight the most striking moments.

Regarding the retro graphics, we’ll improve them and add an option in the settings for players to choose between classic and modern graphics.

Really great Whalepass integration. Was very impressed by how much you used all of the features with missions/challenges and multiple rewards for every level in the Battlepass!
I really, REALLY, liked the staff that was worth 10k points in game. That thing absolutely destroyed everything lol! Fun game loop, but it would’ve been nice if there was something that prevented the player from kiting monsters. I was able to pretty easily dodge most things pretty much indefinitely, so an occasional hyper fast monster or maybe monsters that shoot bullets could help add some challenge to players that are constantly running away like I did.
One small request, but I would’ve liked to have a setting to disable to CRT filter. It definitely adds a more retro feel, but I felt like it hid a lot of the great graphics work that yall had created.

Hello! To improve the game's balance, we decided to include the option for players to escape. We really liked your idea and will keep it in mind as we work on future updates to make the game even better.
We’ve studied the Whalepass system thoroughly and implemented everything we could in Unity. I still need to complete the Whalepass team's questionnaire about new ideas.
Regarding the CRT filter, our plan is to offer a configuration option to switch between RETRO mode and modern graphics. This way, players can choose between a classic or contemporary experience.
