Im am a professionell league of legends player and love this game to cool down!
Great fun!
I love to play this game!
Really cool. I´d liked the female voice very much. Best game in this competition!
Thank you!
I will forward your compliment to the voice actress ;)
That was really an immersive experience, game crashed and couldn't continue :(
But it had nice controls and nice tutorial.
Well played with this game.
I am glad you found it to be immersive! That was one of my main goals :D
Can you describe what happened so that the game crashed?
All I know that if you play the game for long amount of time that crash happens
Its really awesome that you were able to get voice acting in it. I wasnt able to play it very well on my computer, but I can tell that its a very relaxing game collecting space rocks. I like how the planet was done as well
Thanks for the comment! Yes, I'm lucky to know Angelika, who is a professional actress and was so kind to record the text :D
The planet is part of Avionx "Skybox Series Free" pack from the Unity Assetstore. The game wouldn't have been the same without it!
I had a chill time floating around and mining ^^ I'd almost mined everything but then unfortunately it crashed ToT I lost all my progress, it was an embeded error within the game, not my browser.
Was there going to be combat after the mining? I'll come back and play anything I missed if so, but otherwise I had a good time regardless :)
I am sorry to hear that the game crashed! Can you describe how/when that happened?
Glad you liked it non the less :)
[Potential Spoiler ahead]
Currently, there is no combat in game. As some of the instructor's lines suggest, I originally considered adding pirates to attack after the tutorial. Would be a nice prelude for a bigger game :D
The further development went, the more it felt like this should be a relaxed, peaceful experience. So I ditched the idea. Wouldn't have had the time to implement combat AI anyways...
No worries! yeah it definitely is peaceful, I could play a longer version while watching a podcast easily.
So I'm not sure exactly what the crash was. There was an alert pop up message that I know can happen when a web build of a game tries to save progress like its a desktop build? but that's just a guess, it could have just been something specific to my browser the game didn't like.
You might actually be spot on!
I wasn't able to reproduce the error (yet), but when I checked back in Unity, I noticed that my debugging tools are enabled in the final build - among those a gif-recorder. It might be possible that this one fired and tried to save a gif to your computer.
Great voice acting. The controls are very floaty and after making a few space rocks explode I stopped playing since I don't know what else to do.
Thanks for the feedback!
The instructor guides you through the whole game, explaining what to do. The next commands are triggered once you completed the previous ones. However, this is not communicated to the player, because I removed the corresponding text messages in some imprudent, last minute decision -.-
