This is for sure one of the best! I love everything about this, graphics, sound, gameplay and especially game feel, and the fact that it's made in GZDoom just makes it even cooler in my books. Awesome entry, top contender for sure!

Love the windwaker-esque graphics of this one. Controls really nicely and feels great to shoot as well. I wasn't able to survive, but enjoyed playing it :)

That was so cool! love the hover boat designs and the turbulent displace on the water was a nice touch!

Developer(+1)

In the interests of clarity, the water effect came by default with the engine.

oh fair go

Really great art, both 3D and 2D! I couldn't get the controller working but I managed with the keyboard

can i just say wow

Hmm, game is slightly broken for me. It's only the models that are broken but they look like tangled spaghetti. The actual gameplay and sounds are fantastic though! Very 90s.

Developer

Hmm, weird. Can you take screenshot?

Submitted

Well, as I started the game up to do so (even though I restarted several times before), and it decided to display them correctly. *shrug*

Aha! If I start the game using OpenGL as preferred renderer, it happens. OpenGL ES works fine, so does Softpoly and Vulkan.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I'll just warn people not to use it with OpenGL renderer then.

This one was really fun. Phenomenal art and fun sound effects. I was happy with the enemy variety as well. Very much reminds me of the boat section in Megaman Legends. Great job!

That was great! The gameplay was very simple but it controlled well and was some good fun for a few minutes. I love the Megaman Legends/64 look and the audio was great! Seriously the sound effect for shooting actually made the game more fun to play

Hard but fun, I love the use of the GZDoom engine here.

Wow! ^^ this was so fun, and quite hard actually, I beat the end of the demo, I wish there were more levels this was really fun to play.

I think I saw you say its your first jam? congrats if so this is an amazing submission! :)

Digging the graphics, audio and dialogue. Good job!

This is really good! I love the style, the cannon mechanic and the way you can't shoot behind you add just enough depth to keep it interesting. And on top of all that, the fact that it's actually built on a 90s engine is ๐Ÿ˜™๐Ÿ‘Œ You can't rate 90s any more than that.
