Nice visual, unfortunately could'nt play the web version.

After pressing start the game freeze. Too bad...

Maybe I need a better computer, don't know.

Looks good, really wish I could try it once!

Hello! Thanks for giving it a shot. Sometimes it takes a while to load after pressing start on the web version if you're willing to try again. I also recommend trying the Windows version too. Either way, thank you!

Very cool music and visuals! I finished it and overall it was a pretty neat little game! Just some feedback on some things that felt a bit off and haven't been mentioned yet:

  • You can just spam shoot and generate a lot of charged shots very quickly! Felt like he would click his fingers multiple times for one "beat", so a limiter here of one timed shot per beat is needed.
  • The jump was a bit frustrating at times, especially when sprinting I felt like it wouldn't register my input. I would probably look up "coyote time" and consider adding some to your jump!
  • I was super confused what the "wall walking" portals were, the first time I walked into one I just assumed my game had totally glitched out hahah. They were also a bit hard to see at times, I spent a while looking around for the last one.
  • Having the bullet/ammo only consumed on a miss was pretty confusing for me, as it is pretty counter intuitive to how a projectile weapon works. Also as you also already have a "miss-timed shot" negative balancer of not generating the blue bullet charge shots, it felt a bit superfluous. But if you really wanted to keep it, maybe need to dress it up a bit differently than with literal bullets/ammo (high/low energy shots etc).
  • Some feedback for when you get a "charge shot" would be great!

Sorry for the dump, I liked it a lot so wanted to outline my issues properly for you. If you were aware of all of these then all good. I wish you the best if you want to take this further! :)

Hey! Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts. We do plan to expand on the concept so this is immensely helpful! I especially like the suggestion of a limiter for each beat.

A very good game, great graphics. I didn't have any big problems with the game, but I noticed a few aspects:

1) The rhythm concept is incredibly cool, but also very difficult to achieve. I tried to synchronize myself as well as I can, but if you don't hit the beat right, you lose a bullet and there's also the problem that you might be surrounded by enemies at that moment and they won't wait for you until you shoot.

2) On that piano panel, I no longer understood what I had to do, because I didn't manage to pass...

Thanks for the feedback! Do you have any suggestions for making synchronizing to the beat more intuitive? I'd love to hear your thoughts as we plan on working more on the project!

It would be very cool if a bar and a line were added to the bottom-left corner of the screen (the bar is white in 3/4 of its length and the rest is green), and when the line reaches the green area then it means it's ok to shoot.

If it's too hard to do this (the line must to be syncronized with the beat), then maybe you should play a song with a more constant rhythm (an example of a game with a rhythm that seemed better to me was Patapon, there you had to beat the rhythm per second and it was easier).

OH MAN THIS WAS GREAT! The track slaps, and it's important, because the whole game rides on it. I had a blast tapping my foot and trigger to the beat. Also- it had waking on walls? Awesome! It didn't even need it to be a great  game, but there it is!

Two things that could be better:

1. enemies- they were too deadly on short distance and ignored you long distance.

2. Turns out I can't platform in first person for shit :) It took me a bunch of restarts to get a feel for the jumps. In lesser game I'd ragequit, but this is not a lesser game

THANKS! Very happy the music was a highlight. Enemy feedback is completely valid and we have some solutions brewing for improving movement!

Visuals and audio/music was great! Good platforming and puzzle elements. I wish the enemies were somewhat more challenging tho, felt like they did not really a threat at all.

Thank you! Glad you liked the aesthetic. I totally agree on the enemies. Were thinking of expanding on the idea and interesting enemies are a must!
