Fun game! Controls feel really nice to handle and I like the time mechanic you implemented. I also like the addition of the crowns, which provide the player an extra platforming challenge. Your checkpoints are generous, which I appreciate, and the visuals and sound design is really good.

I think the falling platforms and spikes should move slower. Certain areas feel luck-based when I try to stop time because the objects are moving so fast that it's extremely difficult to react to. I think the platforms should move at a speed that's fast enough so that the player has to use the time mechanic, but slow enough so that they also have time to react and strategize a path. I also think a bar that shows how much time can be rewound would be useful. Sometimes it rewinds a different amount, like when you're using it repeatedly, so a visual indicator would be nice.

Great game overall. I enjoyed playing through it.

Thanks for playing! I am glad you liked the game.

Yeah, I agree, should have made them a bit slower. And I did have a time rewind bar, but I removed because it only rewind time back to 1 second, so it was not much of a use and was covering a bit of screen.

Thanks for the feedback! :)

I've discovered this game trough Goruku's (idk if this is his nickname here) live at twitch xD Its a nice game to watch and play. Its very hard, but it is very nice! Love the music and artwork!

I'm not really good at these kind of die & try platformer, but that's just me.. Haha :P

Really awesome art, audio and polished animations! Controls are perfect to, very smooth. The stop time mechanic works perfectly. I had a blast when I saw squirrels can suicide themselves, lol

Pretty cool game. Solid art, solid music and sound effects, and I loved the gameplay mechanics, with the time puzzles, that made you think and use both powers in combination.

Probably one of the best games yet :)

Completed the game (only didn't collect last crown since I didn't know next room was the final one) so time for rating. Gameplay wise, it's pretty good - movement is really smooth and mechanics are interesting to meddle with, no mentioning that it has proper tutorial that quickly introduces to the game. They are also some interesting glitches that I don't think you necessary were aware of, but made this game pretty interesting - for example, you can use stopping time to extend your rewind time ability, which I think could be nice as an actual mechanic (plus it sometimes extend time so much that some platforms leave the room entirely, like in the image under the text). Respects for using GameMaker: Studio 2 for this project.

Thanks for playing! I actually knew about that glitch, I thought of it as a feature cuz I used it a lot. lol I see now why a lot of people found some levels difficult, they probably didn't find out about that glitch. My bad. And, yeah, I realized that bug later,  I should have put an invisible wall for the platform to not leave the room.

Thanks for the feedback! :)

The game mechanics are pretty good! Only problems are: Levels are a little too difficult to play and figure out, there are occasional glitches like the player getting stuck, NPCs getting stuck, there are no hints, the moving platforms and obstacles move too fast, and the time can only be frozen for like 2 seconds, which isn't enough for the beginners. Also, for some reason, the game often thinks I released the time reverse key when I literally hold the key the entire time. Other than those, the music is nice, the graphics look appealing, the mechanics are interesting, the setting of the game is interesting, and the game in itself could've been absolutely fun without those flaws.

Considering that you've made this at a limited time, this is actually quite amazing and impressive, despite the flaws. Great job on this one!

Thanks for playing! Yeah, the game was meant to be challenging but I might have made it a bit too difficult. But if it was for a full game, I would have planned it better. And yeah, there are glitches, I couldn't recreate the glitches so no idea how to fix yet, or maybe it happens during time reverse which is intentional. It was 3 seconds before, but I made it 1 second. lol Because it was giving too much time and it won't be challenging anymore. I clear the key when the time reverse has completed its 1 second. I am glad you liked it.

Thanks for the feedback! :)

The levels were pretty difficult but great use of the mechanics. I feel like the player didn't need to be reversed as much as the level. I like the graphics too, overall great job!

Thanks for playing! Glad you found the game interesting.

Yeah, I couldn't get enough time to think it through, added all the obstacles on the last days. lol

Thanks for the feedback! :)

Two classic time mechanics combined with good difficulty management, create a classic and refreshing game.

I really like it! It's very difficult, but I feel very good finishing a level.

P.S. I really like the graphiks! They are AMAZING!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it. Yeah, it was meant to be challenging.

Again, Thanks! :)

Nice combo of time tools! I like how they directly interact with eachother. I would look more into some predictability or visual clarity within the rewind mechanic; maybe have a ghost of the player follow behind to visualize where I will end up when rewinding, since It felt kinda luck based at times on weather or not I would get it correctly.

Some of the spikes make levels a lot harder, while also moving at a speed that makes it hard to time a time stop or rewind correctly.

Visuals are absolutely amazing, this game looks great!  Aswell as the music, nice job!

Developer

Thanks for playing!

I actually added that feature before, but thought it might not look good so removed it. lol

I see. I am glad you liked it. Thanks for the feedback! :)

Pretty nice celeste-like! The controls felt nice and the crowns were nice side objectives to go for. I felt the rewind mechanic was a bit underutilized and difficult to know when to use. It doesn't seem that it lets you rewind for very long and the screens where it is necessary to use, there is no visual indication that the blocks on the screen will be affected by the rewind. You kinda just have to come to a screen that seems impossible to solve and assume you need to rewind. I also got a glitch where my character fell through the ground and I was unable to continue. I've attached a screenshot. Overall, great platformer, thanks for making it!

Developer

Thanks for playing!

Yeah, I did all the level design on last 2 days so it was all in rush.

Don't know how that bug occurred, but you can close and reopen the game to fix it, I suppose.

Thanks for the feedback, it'll help me make better games in the future. :)

Yeah, I had the same glitch xD

Developer

Haha, I must have missed a collision block.
