That was quite fun. I found the platforms appearing and disappearing to be a little awkward but it had an interesting bit of strategy to it. The speed mechanic is cool but I think it would be more fun if it ramped up the speed to be even faster. Pretty cool game!

Saw this being played on Ducc's stream and I just had to try it out for myself. This is delightful and surprisingly challenging. Very charming game and one of the most fun I've had yet with the jam!

lovely visual style! it’s a bit lacking in terms of audio and variety, but overall a simple and fun runner.

super cool, reminds me of some runner games that were hosted on flash game sites way back. And I love the little guy

I like path generation. It's a lot of fun when there's only one way left, and you have to get to the next sphere

i threw so many times and fell right before the end, but finally beat it! this game is addicting, seeing the winding roads generate before yours eyes is very satisfying, especially when you're already going fast and then the roads generating just zip right past you to form the next platforming section. really good stuff on the presentation (i like your little guy a lot!)

there were sometimes i'd lose due to rng because i just so happen to pick the wrong road while being far away from the others, but it also led to some clutch decision making moments when i notice that i'm in a potentially bad route, which feels satisfying. if the roads ending at a certain point is intentional, maybe having an indicator right before it starts to end would make it feel better in terms of player experience!

since the road generation is rng, the point system relies on getting good spawns for the gems, which made me feel less invested in trying to aim for a high score. though i think that having a timer could potentially work wonders with the game design, especially with the existence of the speed gems! the speed gems feel like a double edge sword since you gain speed to go faster to outspeed the disappearing platforms, but it makes your character harder to control. having a timer incentivizes speedrunning, and having that risk-reward speed increase gem in the game could greatly add to the skill ceiling a lot and make it super engaging for people who are competing for faster times (though the timer is just a preference thing as a fan of speedrunning xd)

overall, very fun game, i like it a lot! nicely done!

Thank you very much for playing and for all of the great feedback!

Pretty much agree with your feedback, definitely have some tweaking/polishing to the game-play experience and scoring. Glad you enjoyed it and were able to beat it haha. I was a bit back and forth on timers vs high score so it was very much on my mind and will consider it for sure if I get round to working on this some more :)
