great game, the concept is hilarious and the visuals goes perfectly with it. also indeed a speedrun game, the fact that you can skip the dialogue by jumping over the fence at the beginning is damn on point.

you achieved making a game you remember playing, congratulation

I liked the concept and the aesthetic, but I couldn’t figure out how to use the wacky new power granted to me by the Flemish(?) speaking meteor guy.

Thanks for playing and this feedback. The wacky superpower is the game's third "throw mode", which you can switch into with a second right click after picking up an item.
I'll make this a little more apparent in my post-jam release.

I have no idea what he's speaking btw 🙃 It's a stock sound effect, the same one I used for the Spouse but with a lil' pitch scale!

Great game, really liked how you used real life images for the game, looks really cool. The game was also really fun to play(and funny :P ). Great game :D

if i had a nickel for the number of wacky first person shooters with real life photos as assets in this game jam that have speedrunning in mind, i'd have TWO nickels (so far) which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice. getting that smooth loop on the hand for the idle animation is actually really impressive, well done on that one. i liked the chill and lighthearted vibes of this one, super original! i got the lake ending. will likely try to play this one further in the future.

Hilarious writing, I appreciate the attention to detail that your wife has different lines depending on how soon you run away from her. The on-the-nose application of the theme was very cheeky :P

I've always been a big fan of photographed assets like this. Gives everything a very self aware retro flavor.

Not sure if I got the real ending (of the three I got), but I definitely got a few chuckles. Nice work releasing your first jam submission :)

A neat little game for a totally normal vacation!

A silly game. Using photos for the sprites is clever! And their editing creates a unique aesthetic!

The "tutorial" for the game left me with more questions than answers, but I got a grasp of things once I  realized the hand was simply missing the sprite of the held object it clicked.

Speaking of, for a game that has several short endings and is begging to be speedran, it felt tedious to get sucked into the tutorial every time I wanted to go for a new ending. But, thats just a nitpick.

Overall, its got style, and its nice for a quick pick up :3

Thanks for playing, and also letting me know the tutorial skip wasn't as obvious as I hoped it would be!!
