I like the artwork and music here. The game was a bit simple for my taste, with quite linear puzzles and no real challenge to them, but it was well made. The battles were an interesting mechanic but got a bit repetitive. It might have been nice to introduce new spells with each battle. Great effort for a 2 week jam though!
Very nice game, beautiful artwork, clever design of battles, puzzles were easy and I like that because I usually lose patience with these puzzles fast :D well done!! If I could change something... I would decrease the volume of the stick sound when you walk. I feel it's a bit loud
Lovely entry this! The presentation is wonderful. Artwork and sound gelled perfectly and created a lovely experience.
I had a little trouble with the UI on the browser version in full screen but other than that, it was a fun and cute game!
There's a lot of good ideas here. The use of magic powers, the timing based combat, the bouncing mushroom section. I was initially terrified of the maze but it ended up not being too difficult to traverse. The mushroom boy was so cute and funny. If you expand on this, I think it'd be cool to flesh out the magic system so it's not just a one click thing. Nice job!
Lovely drawing style and character design. The music is very fitting. It would be great if there was a way to manually advance the dialogues. Otherwise it's somehow always either too fast or too slow. But even without this it's a nice game. Especially for jam development, where time runs at least twice as fast as it should ...
I have to admit that I didn't understand the puzzle with the big mushrooms. I only got to the other side(s) by trial and error. Otherwise it was pretty straightforward.
Oh, and I too had the problem that some texts were overlaid by the inventory.I would love to visit this world again, there are certainly some interesting stories to explore. :)
Nice game, I liked the idea and the graphics however I encountered a bug with the animation of the character's face (going in strange places) in addition it would be really cool if you made a function where you can keep pour mouse clicked to keep moving because in the actual state you couldn't. But congratulations!
Other than the UI bugs, this game looks great, has a cool 2000's cartoon colour palette
This was a fun game to play great work, I did find in a couple of spots the hitbox was a little sensitive especially in the mushroom field
I love the world and the characters. Everything had a lot of personality, and the storyline made me want to find more about the universe. I think there's a lot you could do with the world and characters if you ever made an expanded version. I did run into a few UI issues here and there. Sometimes I couldn't read the text, because it would be blocked by the inventory or the sides of the screen. I also wish the characters' dialogue wouldn't autoplay, because I take extra time to read them and wish I could instead click to progress the text.
I actually recorded my playthrough. If you want to see my impressions as I played, you can see it below (timestamp for your game in the description). Hope that can be useful!
Thanks for the playthrough video! A lot of good points in there in your feedback. The full screen inventory bug is news to me - very helpful to find out about that. I'll certainly make the mushroom puzzles easier to work out the solution for if I spend more time on them. We ran into quite a few time shortages, otherwise there would have been a few QoL improvements and more spells in battle.
Cool art. Game was refreshing and joyful. Well done!
Good job on the game! Here's my feedback:
