I liked what I could play a lot, but I encountered what is probably a bug that caused the camera to shake uncontrollably forever.   Throwing the shield to light up different parts of the labyrinth is really cool, and I like the labyrinth itself.  Overall solid demo and I'm excited to see how it progresses.  Here's a video of my playthrough (might need some time to fully process the HD version), I hope it helps!

Aside from some clunk such as not being able to click to start an attack until the previous one is finished, this was pretty enjoyable. I have been streaming and people in the chat had to let me know I could throw the shield. I am excited to see how this game progresses.

I really enjoyed this game! I didn't get to finish it but I think the way this game uses light is very neat and is a good way to integrate the atmosphere of the level into the game mechanics themselves! Combat feels a little basic, but overall I thought it was decently satisfying. I didn't like how if I tried to interact with an object that uses the e button with my shield up it would still throw my shield, but besides that very solid and I look forward to seeing more of this game.

Very cool idea. I think I would have climatied better to the idea if I had a starting area with lantern refills before delving into an area with no refills.

Some nice traps to reinforce that you need light, fell into a tar pit (I think) when I slacked off, pretty clever.

Health/ Stamina bars don't seem to refill after hitting zero, thought I had run out of stamina permanently before running showed that it was actually full.

Played with Hue lights for maximum light immersion.

Cool themes and concept, throwing your shield around to better see the room you're fighting in (pre-light spell) was a cool mechanic.

idk if it was intentional or not but the crawling skellies made skelly protagman have permanent seizures.
Also their stagger animation seem to be the same as the walking skeletons but I assume it's a placeholder rather than a bug.
Combat-wise, it feels like you should have more than just a swing, if nothing else just a combo so it doesn't take 2 seconds before you can attack again, and stamina seems a little too limited for the parts where you're just running around.

Also my eyes hurt but I think that's intended.
Pretty good overall, Next DD I'll try finishing it
