  • The core idea is sound enough.
  • Not being about to move the camera around the field makes it difficult to place structures and units.
  • A visible grid would be nice so I can see where I can and can't place things.
  • A visible line indicating the enemies path though would be useful
  • More resources or less expensive structures would be appreciated. I couldn't finish a single level because I couldn't build enough of a castle to slow them down or but enough units to damage them.

All those different TDs on the market and you don't do anything new. I'd say you don't even do the old mechanics well enough.

Perspective is weird, especially with how high the towers tend to be. Placed archers on the ground instead of tower and didn't notice it until they got killed. Can't rotate camera. No progression - you either beat the level, or you don't. No extra money for kills, just build something and see if it works. Enemies just rush in one after one, and then start pathfinding, sometimes crowding when there's an obstacle like the knight.

No idea what's the different between an archer and a crossbow guy. Knights get overrun very fast. Some areas are unavailable for placing units, but you can build on them.

At least you didn't let me block off the ending. That's the only positive I can find.

Neat little game but I feel it doesn’t do anything to go past the usual issue most/all tower defense games tend to have, which is that there is one correct way to win and it tends to be making a funnel. I guess that’s the genre though. I would like to see this expanded with a level editor and please let me rotate the camera, just because I think it looks neat. It would also solve typical issues like this: imatge.png

Thank you for your time and I agree with your feedback.

However despite the time I put into the game it was always meant as a side project and i dont know if if I will ever develop it further since i have other things I'm more passionate about. It achieved its goal which was praticing how to make various systems and mechanics and make a functioning game out of them.

i placed a knight right next to the gate and it completely ignored any incoming enemies.

Really nice art and sound effects. Definitely needs a way to rotate the camera, though. A couple of times I thought I was placing archers on top of walls, when I was actually placing them on the ground behind the walls. I also accidentally hit the trash can button and wiped out everything I had, so some sort of "Are you sure you want to delete" popup would be nice. UI scaling would be cool, too. I'm on a 4k monitor and the icons were really tiny.

The gameplay here is fun and simple. Good luck with this.

- This game is a lot of fun. I love the bombs, they're very satisfying to use.

- You need to add a next level button and some way to move the camera.

- It's hard to place units on top of and behind walls.

- You should add some flowers to contrast with the green. Too much grass.

- Navigating the menu is a bit annoying. There's enough room to display all the buttons at once.

I've come across some issues in my short play

  • several crossbowman will all target the first unit if they can. the first shot hits, next shots miss. I think auto-targeting a different unit is better. Can also allow targeting[first | last| strongest] like in bloons TD
  • targeting a unit on top of a tower(for removal) is tricky, so is placing it. very tight margins compared to empty grid spaces
  • I placed a spike trap atthe bottom of the ramp at level 1 but enemy pathfinding simply skirted it at the tile edge and it was ineffective.
  • once I have been defeated, auto-restart the page in 2 seconds or pop up an alert letting me restart, the units keep on going currently.

The graphics are pretty nice and the game logic seems to work pretty well, so good job there.
