Track description | Creative process
I used a lead instrument that I thought was reminiscent of older games to make a connection to the original OST. My chord choices were picked to give the vibe of a dark underground scene similar to the original track. The original track feels as though it may have been jazz inspired, which gave me the idea of taking a similar (but more modern) direction overall.

I didn't have nearly enough time to work on this but I had fun! Hope you like it!

So cool! I am loving the organ with the tremolo and the harmonies here. Really mysterious but upbeat vibes. Great credibility with a new approach. The drums punctuated with synth attacks are fantastic too. Awesome work!

Nice ideas and funny vibes, maybe it lacks some variations, but I think it could fit nicely in the game, good job!

Of this jam and ost jam this is the first one ive heard that i can actually agree when saying its jazz inspired, was really fun and i liked all your ideas, but i think the wobble effect is a bit to strong, and those synth shots feel a little bit sudden, i see what you were doing with the more sforzando style shot but i think a softer entry with a louder end will help keep it more stylistic with the type of music ur writing here. Good work!

Yeah I usually get carried away into another genre when going for a jazz direction, this was one of the only times I've mostly stuck to jazz lol. I was going for the idea of "?!" with those synth shots (as silly as that might sound lol) but now that you mention it, I wish I had thought of a more gradual volume ramp for a less sudden feel. Thanks for the feedback!
