This was an interesting game without a doubt. I love the Kangaroo astronaut concept! It took some practice to get the hang of the jumping mechanics, and at first I was frustrated because I thought it was being non-responsive when I jumped, but I figured out that it was momentum that was needed. I think this mechanic works well sometimes, and other times it hurts the game, because you miss some pretty simple jumps sometimes and have to hop backwards a bit and have another go at it. Other than that, the game has a beautiful aesthetic. Your scenery is gorgeous, and you have 4 levels of parallax! I appreciated the level select. Not sure if the theme was strongly represented, but the look of this game did amaze me nonetheless. Some more sounds and maybe some music wouldn't hurt. I would definitely play this again! Great job!

I really like the idea of playing as a kangaroo, it makes the jumping satisfying. The art is really cute!!The inputs feel delayed, or maybe it's just the acceleration is slow. Great Jam!!

I see your kangaroo is going to space! Maybe he'll meet my Llama ;) Nice animations. Could've used some music, though. Rated!

Nice simple graphics, cool animations! good job!

It looks interesting. The movement of the character resembles the control of a typewriter in a physical platformer, in order to have horizontal speed, you need to accelerate. But playing for a long time is boring. Good luck with development)

It looks really good!
Interesting concept of a space kangaroo!

I’d agree with other people here that the controls are a little finnicky, but once I got the hang of the jumps it was actually quite fun! It’s still a little annoying though, and my biggest complaint is that changing direction is pretty slow. Plus you don’t really have control in the air - it would be nice to be able to control where you land a little more, so you can chain jumps more easily.

The visuals are great, but the controls aren't responding very well.

The controls are not very responsive. Jumps sometimes take times to register and makes it hard to aim at some platforms. The Kangaroo is super cute though!

Jumps only register when the kangaroos feet are on the ground, as it's run cycle consists of hops. Though I realize it should've been explained at the beginning and can be frustrating if the reason is not clear :/ More time allocation for thinking out the tutorial next time ^^'

I "got" what you explain here while playing, but the feeling is a bit off. I liked to just hold the jump button and bounce around though, this felt much better.
