Awesome game! I kinda wish it had music, but the car is really satisfying to control. Being able to recover from collisions with the fly mode is really fun!

Developer(+1)

I'm glad you like it! We had music originally but sadly even though it was royalty free, Youtubes Content ID system flagged my trailer for the game so last  minute we ditched the music so that we wouldn't be disqualified for accidently DMCA striking Dunkey. I'm glad you enjoyed the rest though!

Developer

glad you liked it! And yea we legit removed the music an hour before upload. As YouTube is a tad aggressive on any sound related content. I recently had a video copyrighted, even when I own the rights to use it. lol.

I love the level design and controls , the cops didnt give much a challenge and roads had some collision problems here and there but it was so fun to play , great job!

Developer(+1)

I'm glad you like the level design! It was the first time I ever worked with Unreal's landscape and level editing tools so it's nice to hear good feedback in that area~

Glad you liked it and I will investigate the road collisions :) thanks for playing

You just made an amazing work with this game! First one I laughed this much while playing.

Good job!

Developer(+1)

I'm glad my story I wrote at 2 am made you laugh as much as my sleep deprived brain enjoyed making it XD Thanks for playing!

I loved this concept, the car and animations are suuuper cute! They have so much personality, I didn't see it just as a car but as a character with personality (like Cars). I would love to chill more; it would be the game I'd spend hours exploring. What I liked the least is the police and the performance.
The concept of the wings is awesome! At one point, with the sunset it felt like I was driving Ron's car in Harry Potter, haha.
The screenshot of the car flying with wings is sooo memorable and unique, love it!
Amazing job!

Developer(+1)

I'm glad you liked it! the first thing we did was try making the car as personable as possible so I'm glad it's not going unnoticed :)

Sorry about the performance! It's definitely a weak point of mine especially during jams so it's definitely a place to grow. We'll also try to figure out a good way to keep the cops while making it a lot more palatable :D Thanks for playing

Really good graphics here! games feels really polished. Darn those pesky cops, though!!! great job here! Two thumbs up

Developer(+1)

Appreciate the comments on the art, we wanted to make something everyone would enjoy both visually and gameplay wise, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Developer

Thanks! We wanted to make sure that the game felt and looked good so we really appreciate it!

Submitted(+2)

holy crap! the graphics are way too polished for a game jam game, amazing submission!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! We sort of got in our own heads on some art areas. Wish we had the time to add more. Maybe this little game turns into something bigger?

Developer

Thanks! One of the things we were super incredibly focused on was making sure we could nail the look and personality of game so I'm glad it paid off :D

Dude = Grandson of the year! 🥹 Amazing game, I loved just about everything about it! The presentation, the voice acting, the gameplay, all excellent! The police could be a bit chaotic, and at some points in the journey it might have been handy to turn the camera to see where I was going, but far from deal breakers, this absolutely a game I will keep at to get all the collectibles and endings! Great job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for your kind words! It was such a labor of love I'm glad you liked it. We've been getting a lot of comments about how intense the cops are XD We will keep your comment about the camera in mind if we decide to do more with the game later~

I hope you do find all the tapes and get the good ending my man :D

Nice game with some good moments of driving and flying around the terrain. I'll echo the frustration of the police mechanic. And I also had trouble when I needed to drive towards the camera or had trees blocking the camera. Still, these frustrations still led to some interesting situations since I was able to jump on top of a police car while driving and use it as a launching pad to start flying, which was pretty funny.

Developer

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed the game for the most part. After the jam I will definitely take a look at how to make the cops less aggressive and help with the visual side of things so the vision isn't so easily affected. I appreciate the feedback

Really fun game and very polished. The only issue I really had was the cops are brutal.

Developer

Thanks! Yeah the  cops seem to be the biggest point of contention at the moment. I appreciate you playing the game!

This game is really fun! I love how flying works,  you guys did an amazing job and I love it! The game has a great feel to it.

Developer(+2)

Thanks, we tried to focus on the feel of the game more than anything. As most games tend to add tons of extra stuff and the main game play isn't tuned.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I really appreciate the kind words.  It was really important to us to focus on making sure the game felt fun first and foremost

I love cars, and I love flying—I'm the avatar of your game, haha! I had a fun time playing it, and it was exciting to experience a game with such authentic and beautiful visuals. I was pleasantly surprised by the car's boat, turbo, jump, and flight modes, especially how well the visuals were integrated with each mode.

I've only seen the normal ending, and I didn't want to see the others for two reasons: First, the police— I tried several times to avoid them, but there was no way. It would have been great to be able to evade them by flying. Second, the performance—even with lowered graphics, the game runs quite slowly when it becomes night.
Anyway great game!

Good job, guys!

Developer(+1)

Yeah, I also had some moments where the cops put you in a bad spot. Thanks for the graphics feedback, we want to make sure more people can play.

Developer

I'm sorry you had issues with the performance! That was a worry I was having with the project, I'm terrible at optimizing on the fly. I will keep that in consideration in the future. Thanks for playing :)

Pizza Possum with cars! The gameplay is fun and the goal is clear. The graphics are awesome, but the game needs some optimization. The sound effects could be more plentiful and some music would make the game feel much better. The collectables and different endings were a nice addition. Also I don't think that is how arresting works :D

Great job everybody!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I 100% agree on all your points. We had music in there at first, but my gameplay video got copyright ID’ed immediately even though the music was all content ID free through Pixabays public license. We didn’t want to risk it and took all the music out sadly. Hopefully later we can get some in there :) I appreciate your feedback.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Yeah we actually had more sound/music ideas to add, but we decided to polish other game play areas first. Thanks again for the feedback.
