How does your game represent Mode?
Your base is under attack and has gone into ENERGY SAVING M.O.D.E. (Mechanized Offensive Drone Employment). You need to defend the Company Core against the invasion of Sludge Monsters and refill its Energy Levels. Use your mechanized Powersuit to offensively employ KIMCHI Drones™ on the field (In other words, you throw them aggressively at things and they'll get to work). Powersuit Girl, save us all.

This game has so much polish! The artstyle is really captivating and I feel like the UI is really well designed. I love the little arm flail when you throw a KIMCHI.

I did feel like I didn't fully understand what the upgrades were doing for me, but it was still fun being able to collect them.

Great game!

The art in this game rules! Really enjoyed the gameplay too, my only criticism is that I wish the theme was incorporated more in the gameplay. Otherwise a strong entry, go Kimchi!

Fun gameplay it was nice to built up the kimchi army with upgrades and increase the numbers. The final boss was a cool cameo too.

Love this! Extremely polished style, love the art and character design a lot. The game play is also quite fun, I really enjoy throwing around my little kimchis and watching them get to work. Great job!

Amazing presentation, one of the best in this jam. Great work.

Really fun game with awesome pixel art and animation. Great presentation in terms of music and art. I'm surprised this is the first time I've seen an indie spin on the pikmin formula, it worked really well! Great job on this.

Pikmin inspired.. love it! I loved the overall presentation and art. The gameplay was straightforward to understand. Y'all did a great job!

Super polished art and music. Gameplay is really smooth, it took a little bit of time to understand it at first but once it gets going it is really fun!
I think the theme representation here is a little bit of a stretch but nevertheless great work, it looks and feels beautiful!

Loved the art style and the game! was able to complete it after learning that I have to pull my robots out when it was about to attack. Polished and well thought out game!

Developer

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you learned how to deal with the attack, since that can be punishing.

Great art and music, and fun gameplay. I think the tutorial could use some work as I didn't fully understand the mechanics. I also don't think it fits the theme very closely. Still, really great work.

Developer

Thank you for playing. I could see the tutorial being expanded as well. Appreciate the feedback!

This game is awesome! I really liked how the things you carried to your base could also upgrade your character,  so I felt like everything was worth picking up, and I was engaged with it the whole time. Full marks from me!

Developer

Thanks for playing! I enjoyed designing each upgrade and figuring out what kinds of upgrades would benefit the gameplay.

This game was great! At first I just lost everything to the first bigger monster, but after reading the comments here I figured out that I was supposed to pull my robots out of battle. So I tried again, and this time I won! It was so fun to throw these guys at tasks and get more of them. Now I need to try Pikmen, I never knew I'd love it so much. The sound and art were awesome, the atmosphere was well done, and the tutorial did it's job. I honestly want more.  Great submission!

Thanks for giving the game a try! I'm glad to hear about overcoming the obstacle with the first bigger monster. I thought it was fun to throw these guys and get more too, so I'm happy that shone through.

Art is great! Gameplay fun and super simple. Thought I was doin nice, until the big blob killed all my little bots, but eventually figured out how to fight them!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Glad you were able to figure out how to deal with the big blob.

Great sprite work and visually just looks awesome. Gameplay is like star craft meets pikmin which is just really cool. Could definitely see myself playing this as a full game.

Had a big difficulty spike with the boss character(?) which wrecked my base and all my Kimchis, but otherwise was fun!

Developer

Thanks for playing! The big monster can be challenging, since it requires keeping an eye on when it's about to attack and calling your Kimchis away so they don't get hurt. I appreciate your feedback. :)
