How does your game represent Mode?
I used the theme as a way of doing things, and I envisioned a furniture construction game where the player has to build them in a specific way following a manual.

I love the aesthetics, it also feels super polished. 💛 however I did find out that you can sometimes skip steps which locks you out of finishing.

Oh hey it's IKEA simulator

This is actually quite fun! It was a bit confusing at first since you only can connect things as long as it placed in the work area. I thought It would connect as long as i put the two things together instead.

Also I found a small issue with my items falling outside the screen(bottom) and I had to restart the level since I couldn't get it back.

Good luck on steam release!

Pretty satisfying and looks great, i don't understand how it fits the theme at all though.

Great visuals , it feels polished and smooth. Good job!

I really liked the visuals, basic but fulfilling! I especially loved the diegetic music coming from the music box/radio on the table.

I struggled quite a bit to get it at first, and at times my in game mouse would get stuck and not let me drop a tool/item. Going back to the main menu and coming back seemed to fix it. Also, it did feel like a shame that the screenshots featured items not in the “demo” but I get it.

En fin, c’est adorable. Bonne chance avec la version en Steam.

The game looks really cool, I love the art, it's very cozy and has a lot of juice! I love this kind of game. I will buy this when it comes out :D
It was a bit hard for me to understand at first, but that's normal, it is not easy to make tutorials. I found a bug when it's time for the boxes that give characters, and you press the back button and starting a new game gives you characters indefinitely.
I would have liked to place each thing in its spot myself instead of it being done automatically, like Assemble With Care.
A great entry with amazing work! Congrats! :D

works. looks and sounds great. The game was missing a game tho kinda. "Do this then this" says the manual and game doesn't let me do anything else or try my own ideas or fail. Could be good, keep it up

Developer

I felt the same about my game after some days of work.
In the Steam version, I changed it to something with fewer step-by-step instructions and more trial and error.

Thank you for your encouragement.

I really struggled to get the pieces of the furniture to align in the right place. I think I may have missed some kind of elevation control.

As Jacker said, this game also doesn't incorporate the theme.

However, I found it very visually appealing.

Good work!

Developer

Yeah, I had some difficulties finding a way to explain the main mechanics without any words ^^' I hope you enjoyed it a bit

I spent maybe 30% of my time on the appealing visuals, so I'm glad that it worked haha

Thank you :)

Its visually very nice and is quite a well put together game but it seems like it wasn't made for the theme of the jam.

Developer

Thank you!

As I replied to Keith, my translation got messed up :( Hope you enjoyed Furniture anyway :D

I just wanted to say that this was a solid game! I think where this shines the absolute best is in the presentation category. The art, the sound design, the ui, it works very well together. I did find the game a little tedious and I didn't really see the connection with the theme as much, but other than that, really felt like a studio instead of a single dev :)

Developer

Thank you very much!

I have a lot to do before achieving a fully clear and cozy experience with this game :)

I received a lot of feedback about the theme; it might be because I'm French and used the wrong translation... ^^'

I was alone in developing Furniture, so I take this as a compliment. Thank you :D
