How does your game represent "Power"?
In this game your main weapons are power chords, as you use your guitar to fight through hordes of enemies. Besides the thematic use of "power", there are also power-ups littered across the map.

This entire thing rocks (hehe) conceptually. I am NOT good at rhythm games so I was pretty worried about my ability to play this, and I can't multitask this sort of thing very well, but the arrows were very forgiving and had a lot of space which made it much easier to actually feel how the game could play.
The arrows stand out so much against the background it made it easier at a point to focus more on moving and having an approximate idea of which order the arrows were coming in, the actual movement is fluid and navigation is easy as a result. I wish the default attack had a slightly wider radius and the enemies had just a little more feedback when they died.
Very interesting game, awesome concept, best music choice, all around fun and good job within the time frame!
WOW
This is was really sick. Awesome approach on the theme.
Sick concept, I definitely had to focus way more on the chords and mostly ran away from the hoard. I did notice that most of the time having lives was meaningless if the hoard caught me, I'd just get one shot. Would help to have some invulnerability after taking damage. Love seeing this level of creativity though, really well done!
At first glance it's a neat concept, but in practice it's really hard to play the guitar while keeping the eye on the field. However, it is unintentionally a great coop game, having one player playing the instrument and another player dodging the skulls could be a lot of fun! I also found the safe spot at the leftmost rock where the skulls can't touch you for a very long time. Overall, well done!
Cool idea, love the graphics too. I got a score of 400 after a few tries when I started to get the hang of it! I think it would be interesting to see some different configurations for the placement of the notes, like Id be curious to see if having it further up the screen would make it easier to pay attention to where im walking or not
Love the idea. Man it is HARD for me.
