How does your game represent "Power"?
The entire game is based around power. Everything you do uses up power and you can only get it back by killing enemys.

Fun little game! You absolutely fly around those dungeons! I liked the Mega Man style sprite, the art was cute, the music was nice and learning the mechanics was pretty cool! I wish the upgrades told you what they did, I could tell on a couple of them, but not all of them.

Nice game though! :O

Fun good game, once I figured out how you attack and which enemies to run through it was a lot of fun. The attacking method is unique and interesting creating a hit and run play style given how fast your character is. The rare water slime that gets closer to you in speed was fun to fight because it was the only that that matched you. Over all fun game although speed as an upgrade seems not helpful because you're already much faster then everything else so I only picked the sword upgrade to make it last longer.

Mechanics are simple yet quite fun. Found the game's difficulty a bit too easy, but running through enemies was still fun enough for me to play to the end.

Shield mechanics are super satisfying.

That was honestly just purely fun! I loved running through everything and timing my shield so I didn't have to stop, and then I just stood on top of bosses with shield out until they died hahahaha! I assume one of the upgrades reduced the power cost of the shield. If so, that is definitely the strat

Thanks for trying out my game and the positive feedback. Yes, one of the upgrades that looks like the shield reduces the power cost of the shield.

First of all,  running through the enemies is a great idea and when it works, it works. When the basic enemies spawn in a straight line with just small pockets of other enemies, and you can run through them while just pressing shield, it's really nice.

I see the vision, and I really like the idea! But the character movement feel jerky and like you can hardly control them (which would be fine, if running into enemies didnt require some amount of precision to pull of) and the fact that the sword swings slowly and clunkily takes this down from a satisfying experience.

This game really suffers from not communicating well to the player. I still have no clue what any of the upgrades I picked did, I don't know what ends any of the floors (i presume one of the bosses), and the fact that dying and moving to floor 2 have the exact same animation also doesn't help the overall impression.

It took me a few tries to get it, and I had to really read the itch.io page to know what the game wants me to do. But I had fun playing the game, despite my criticisms - again, when you get to run through those skeletons in a row and watch your power go up, while only pressing the shield a few times, it's really satisfying, the combat is essentially inoffensive, the graphics and animations are cute and the enviroments are basic fantasy land.

Thanks for the detailed feedback and trying out my game, it really helps me for the next game I make. Unfortunately I ran out of time at the end.  So you have to go by the pictures for the upgrades and I also reused the death animation for the end of the floor. And you're right, one of the biggest mistakes is probably that there are no instructions or better indicators of what to do, and you only have the Itch.io site to go by, which is also because I didn't manage my time properly.
