Very interesting concept. With only a few tweaks I think this would be a very enjoyable experience. Nice work.
At first I thought you couldn't change direction while moving, which made the third level nearly impossible until I realised you could.
Very unique idea! The delay definitely mixed me up. Wish it didn't send you back to the beginning when you lost though.
Quite a fun little game though the biggest problem is that you dont know where the spikey balls are going to come up, and you dont have any way of stoping just changeing directions. it just makes it a bit frustrating.
I agree. The original idea was to have an enemy "follow" you on the rails but I was running out of time. I tried to make some challenge- maybe not having the enemies dissappear entirely would help as one could try and bank on that.
Could possibly have it switch to the smallest filled circle sprite when the trap is deactivated.
