I really enjoyed playing - fun little game and concept. The controls sometimes feel a bit “slow” but the soundtrack was awesome ;)

RoboLoop_v0Cool game! I really like the design of the player character and how the music speeds up and the colors are inverted once you complete the first half of a level.
I got stuck on level 3. Now that I've read some of the other comments I'm realizing that I probably could've tried dashing in mid-air to get over that long gap. Did not realize you could dash in mid air.

Delver of the DepthsReally cool game. I like the mechanic and the platforming is surprisingly good for a jam entry. My only critique is that the rival mechanic incentivizes players to go slowly to the first goal, and punished players who are fast. I would love to see a game with the same music components and direction but with in some way rewarding good play. Well done.

this game has some good tunes! The platforming just feels spot on, good job on that one! Also, I love the art and the simple animations you've put in, really adds some spice to this game. The idea of battling yourself is very cool (you could try developing a system in which the player dies when they don't move or when they're going the wrong way, if you want to prevent the player from winning easily).

FILM MORBIDThank you very much! Getting the controls to feel comfortable and fair was my highest priority in development. I'm really glad you liked the art too (I'm obviously not much of a pixel artist but I used this project to get out of my comfort zone and actually make original art).
