Neat concept for a game. I love how you need to try and "trick" the enemies to get past them

I didn't know what to do so I was walking and once I came back to where I was first I saw that the number and the level changed. Probably the most unique concept in the jam so far.
Hi,
wow, the gameplay changed my prejudice about the cover art a lot! Those monsters are awesome and their animations feel very good, even though I don't think they're drawn by hand (which is impossible in the span of 10 days ':)) The level changing when you go around it felt very smooth, I didn't notice when the new level appeared, so good job! The ambient music is simple, but combined with the sound effects it adds up to a pretty pleasure experience!
Keep up the good work!

The sprites were drawn by me but they are "animated" through 2d inverse kinematics. I built a few different scripts to move the solver targets to make the limbs move. I want to do something cool for the cover but I don't have patience to animate by hand haha.
I've been trying to get better at music but it's a work in progress haha. Thank you so much for playing!
those creatures are seriously cool, the way they move makes them feel alive and organic and their AI surprised me. The crab one was my favourite.
Also... those tunes, chiptune goth or whatever it is, love it.
They were a ton of fun to make, I used the Unity 2d inverse kinematics package in combination with navigation. The biggest challenge was making the script to figure out where to place the limbs when they are searching for a new position.
Glad you enjoyed the music! I'm not sure what genre it is but I had a lot of fun making it.
Thanks for playing!
I went counter clockwise! "Looking at the back, i can't forget what is not" or something like that...
I t almost looks like a finished game! Just a little polish. The transition between loops for example.
Super cool 9.8/10;
The transitions definitely need more polish. I wasn't totally sure what the goal of the game was going to be initially, so they work like that because I thought I was going to make some kind of tricky puzzle box that didn't have levels but rather changed as you moved through it.
Thank you for your feedback and thank you for playing!
Nice game, love the aesthetic and the atmosphere. The challenges are balanced, and rewarding, good job!
This is a straight 5/5: Nice mechanic, switching levels, simple loop. awesome music, awesome simple sprites, simple but clean controls - nice job dude!
I like this game! The atmosphere is great based on the loop. There will be more monsters in the next loop. And the gameplay that attract and run is cool! But I stuck on some levels a lot. Need a checkpoint lol. I really like the design that adding different mechanics in reason!
Damn. This was an experience, probably one of my favourite games from the jam. The take on the theme is super original, the sounds really set the theme, and wow, the huge skeleton skull snake things really scared me. This combined with the eary atmosphere of walking around a changing loop and the field of view effects combined to make an excellent experience. 10/10.
