Say something about your game if you wanna! :D
I ended up not getting as much done as I wanted due to illness, but I plan on continuing this project beyond the jam. There's lots of fun features and cool mechanics I had in mind that just could not make it in this time unfortunately.

I hope you enjoy!

Great! Would add a button to stop the count early for extra score.

This is super cute, I love the idea! The visuals look really nice, and I like the particle effects coming off of the cats, as it made them easier to spot. The sounds are really charming as well! I had to zoom in quite a bit to see the game weel enough, but other than that, I really enjoyed this!

Oh, did I already count that one?

Very nice little puzzle of counting moving and hiding objects! I enjoyed it a lot, and would love to play more.

Good choice of sounds and music, and very nice job putting all those cat sprites in the environment.

Thank you for incrementing the counter by left mouse click, that is incredibly convenient! Maybe adding a button to finish would also help (when getting used to controls I found myself just waiting most of the time).

The most challenging part was to see those cats due to their very small size of a bunch of pixels. The game screen does not take the whole HTML canvas, and the playing area is even smaller, so I had to zoom in 200% (not sure if that was cheating :3)

I love this art style! So many cats hiding and running around is super chaotic. And the whole game is polished. Such a great entry! Hope you get well soon!

The cats making various movements are so cute!

I was looking forward to seeing different room layouts on each level.

It would be nice if you could manipulate the 1's and 10's digits separately.

I also made a game to count cats!

Beautiful pixel art, I love how detailed the levels are!

Overall this felt very polished. Art is fantastic, sound is great, and I really appreciate being able to scroll to control the counter. Nice work!

Wow!
What a game for a jam!

The game looks awesome! The game loop is very simple and easy to get. And there are some really sneaky spots!

Great submission!

the art is really cool

The game looks really good and polished, great art and music. The gameplay itself is not that exciting though and gets boring quick, but implementation is really nice!

Thanks! I wish I’d had more time to finish some of the  actual gameplay mechanics I envisioned, like patches of darkness where the cats are mostly invisible but their eyes, and candles you can place around that run out over time to push said darkness back, and furniture you can open and move around and….

Yeah.  Getting sick midjam sucks.
