Oh, thank you for playing! And thank you for your feedback! Your feedback is very useful to me. I'll replace the eating button to space so that it would be easier to control. The way to start this game was a little confusing. But I'm happy you all figured it out! I planned to make this game to be purely keyboard controlled, but I didn't get enough time to make animations for the restart button, so I left it as a button to click, haha. This made the restart button inconsistent with the start button. Sorry for causing some confusion. I'm glad you had fun!
I enjoyed it!! Your game is a truly creative one. I read your reply to other players, and I feel your ideas are great. Like extending the time for upgrading after more waves. Don't give up on the ideas you and your sister have. I want to encourage you to keep working on it after jam if you have time. Jam games that require downloading to play usually don’t get enough feedback. Hope you won’t be discouraged by the rankings.
Aww!! Thank you so much for making this version for us! (And I really borrowed a laptop, haha) This is a really sweet story. The message from the story hits me. Although we might feel scared or confused, we can grow together. It is so right! The art style and music and the puzzle idea are so amazing. We need more games like this!
Me too! You are not the only one had this problem. I also stuck at the point when I need to rotate the puzzle. Maybe because I use Mac. I found most of the games made with Godot engine have problems on my laptop. I really want to play this game too! I'll try to borrow another laptop to play this game tomorrow.
I'm so glad you had fun. I was worried that storytelling game would not give players much fun to play. To be honest, you actually said what I want to do. I also felt it would be better to put the character's name or a picture in a separate bubble and stick it to the upper left corner of the dialogue box. I didn't have enough time to implement it, so l left it as is. Your feedback, it actually supports my original idea!
Oh, thanks for playing! It does look a little weird here, because my daughter also told me that it looked like they were flying. But My initial design was to make a transition from orange fallen leaves to pile of pine needles. Because woolly bear's shelter is made of pine needles, so it should be on a large pile of fallen pine needles. I should paint some ground between the two leaves.
Thanks for playing this game. My musician friend and I started this project late, so we tried to keep it simple this time. I decided to focus on finishing the story line, so the gameplay needs more polishing. Sorry for torturing you with this gameplay experience, haha. Thanks for your nice words. Hope my Ukrainian friend can be safe.
This is a nice and inspiring game.
I felt depressing atmosphere at the beginning of this game. It reminds of the time I caused some trouble and the inner criticism started to attack me, and I had a strong sense of powerless and hopeless. I love the design of this switch. It seems give us a way to escape, but actually there is no way we can get out of this if we keep shaming or blaming ourselves.
I love your message "We'll to understand that the only way to find peace with it is through acceptance and internal dialogue." Because I have fought with my anxiety for many years and finally found my peace through accepting myself.
Thanks for making this game!
