I liked the game, though it was more of an interactive experience than a game. Gameplay felt repetitive and very hard as I could not see what obstacle was next until it was too late and inevitable. The message you conveyed was still good and interesting to listen to. The art was pleasing to look at as well and the sounds and music was good (ha, good one with hitting the walls).
Personally, for a game jam, I'd suggest focusing more on the gameplay.
Ok, thanks for the feedback. I'll be using thinking of it in the next one. For this one I just wanted to try something I hadn't done before and have some general fun with it.
i like tha game art and mechanic but its too punishing
Ok, thanks for the feedback!
I enjoyed a lot the experience :)
The story that you tell really brings the game to another dimension and pushes the player to stick to hear the rest, like little cliffhangers !
Congrats on the game!
Cheers
Thanks for noticing 🙂 kind of borrowed the trick, but I had a lot of fun making it myself 😜
That was a very personal game. Amazing. The game was fun, had great graphics, good game feel with bloom particle effects and screen shakes but the narration really got everything right. Thanks for this experience.
Please take some time to play and rate my game as well. I would really appreciate it! Thanks a lot!
Thanks for the compliments buddy! I just checked and rated yours! 🙂
Wow, I wasn't expected to have fun controlling a balloon, great job!
One thing was off for me, the camera movement, idk why after I finished the game I felt kinda tired, because of how fast it goes.
After all, nice first game for a jam :D
edit: I forgot to mention, the pattern of the spikes was too repetitive.
Hi man, first of all thanks for the compliment and more important, thanks for the feedback!
I already got the suggestion to zoom out the camera a bit more, so I'm guessing it would've solved/lessened this effect as well.
Understandable, I sadly only got to create 3 different groups and some randomness, so for a next game, more variety will definitely be a key point!
Gl with your future games :D
You have achieved a very unique and cohesive result dude. The message, the music and the game style really fit very well and have managed to create a very charismatic game, and that is something that not everyone can achieve. Good job!
Thank you so much for all the praise! The last year I've been spending a lot of my free time in learning how to make simple 2D games and compliments like these mean the world to me!
Really pleasant. I enjoyed the nice message and I think the gameplay reflected it very well. Some of the parts where the sawblades led you into a corner were kind of annoying, but it wasn't a huge problem. Overall, very nice.

Thanks for the feedback! I get the frustration with them leading you into a corner, as it leads to some unfair losses. Next time I'll either work on visibility or some way to escape at all time.
Very lovely little game! I really like the visual and the narrative. The mechanic is simple but work really well with the calm, relaxing atmosphere of the game. My only feedback is maybe zoom the camera out a bit, since you can't see a lot of the sawblade, it sometimes lead to dead end when you randomly choose the wrong direction to dodge.
But overall, very good game! Well done!
Ok thanks for the tip! I was trying to find a balans between there being some challenge to it, but I get the frustration of not being able to escape in certain circumstances.
Fun little experience, although I got really dizzy because of the moving background pretty quickly. Loved the narration!
Thanks for the feedback man, I'll try to make it less busy next time!
I liked your effects.
thanks man, I liked yours too :p
I also made a hot air balloon game! The narration was super cool. Great job, hope you enjoyed your first jam!
Then I guess we're rivals now :p Just tried and rated yours too!
I definitely did, time management is my main work point out of this.
Really great experience! The narration was great! The gameplay was a little simple, but it helped you focus on the story. Nice one!
Thanks for trying it out and for the feedback! I was playing with the idea of more variety to the obstacles, but I sadly ran out of time.
Really nice game liked the narration
Thanks!
Very nice voice narration, good job
Thanks! Hope my ackwardness wasn't too apparent :p
Very good game, i very enjoyed it.
Thanks man!
Really enjoyed playing this game. I liked how you only penalized the player with a push backwards when hitting the spikes. It made it easy to continue going and didn't feel too discouraging. The particle barriers at the start/end of a run were done really nicely, too. I like the underlying message. Great work!
I'd love to get your feedback on my game, also. Thanks!
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed!
I just played, commented and rated :)
I was not ready for voice acting!
good game, More variation in the gameplay would be nice.
For what it's worth, neither was I 😜
Thanks for the feedback, I'll be sure to keep that in mind for the next one! I sadly ran short on time, and was already struggling with some bugs, but lessons learned!
That was cool to play! Just relaxing. I really like the narration, it brings a new layer to the game, I just wish it was more integrated to the gameplay. Right now they feel... separate, I guess.
Overall, I like the way it made me feel after playing, and the "Less. Is. More." playing to the beat of the music, in the end, was a great little touch :)
Thanks for the feedback! I get what you're saying, and in all honesty, I probably should've spent some more time on the script, but lessons learned for next time!
Also thank you for noticing 🙂
Love the visuals from this game and yeah! Thomas Brush is the perfect person to get inspired from! After a while, the balloon got stuck in the particle system maybe you have some nasty colliders there :) Well done! Check my game if you like :)
Hey man, thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I had some issues with those, and I thought I had them all in order, but apparently they're still in there. I'll be sure to check it out!
