I liked the music and the animations,

I had trouble getting back to the main menu when I was in-game though. Idk if it was just me or not.

My favorite part is how you move objects to make a ramp, it reminds me of LittleBigPlanet.

Great job!

Really cool platformer! I really liked the art and music. Gameplay is very fun and creative but still maybe need some improvement on the control, especially on top of ladder or on the moving platform.

But overall this is a pretty good platformer! Well done!

Thanks for playing!

Nice mini-game. In detail :
+ Hurry felling
+ UI
+ Different modes
+ Main character make me think of Terrance and Phillip in Southpark
- Controls : if we have to hurry the controls must be perfect, otherwise it's really frustrating.
- Physics : It was hard to control the block and avoid it to move when I jump.

I saw that's your only game on itch, if it's the case, it's a pretty good first game !

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I´m going to change both controls and physics after the game jam ends. And yes, it was my first game, thanks :)

The artstyle is looking pretty good. You have to work on the movement and physics more tho. And I dont really see how this fits into the jam's theme.

Good luck in future!

Developer

Thanks. Someone else asked the same question about the theme, so I´m going to copy-pase the reply lol.

Thanks for playing. The idea I wanted to put in the game, is that I focused more on the gameplay of the game, and adding that sensation of panic as the time goes lower, in one minute. So I wanted to put more things in only one minute of gameplay (and if you choose the different game modes, there is even less time). So I went for the simple art style, that while is not the best, I think  it represents the "less is more" theme.

Oh that's actually a great idea. Only tried easiest difficulty, I was very bad at it so I didnt even tried harder ones.

But the idea sounds nice. I have to change the rattings now that I know this.   :)

Game's fun enough - got to the bus on time. I do have a few suggestions, though:

  • Physics feels very floaty and imprecise. Your character doesn't stay on moving platforms, has really stiff jumps, and has movement that overall feels a bit off.
  • Graphics seem really inconsistent with itself. I think sticking to one style would've helped with the presentation.
  • It was interesting to hear some music that reminds me of the Genesis! Definitely a plus.
  • I liked being able to push and pull objects like crates, gave me Little Big Planet vibes.

I think that this game is a great starting point for making something wonderful. A consistent art style and better physics can go a long way in making a game that much better.
(also, a web build would've been nice)

Developer

Thanks a lot for the feedback! I appreciate it. The moving platform that doesnt carry you was on purpose, but a lot of people didnt like that, so I´m going to change it after the jam ends. I´m also going to remake all sprites, to make them better and more consistent. I tried to make a web build, and made 2 of them, but none of them worked, I don´t know why. Thanks for playing!

Haha, I saw your video! Thanks for playing!

Pretty funny...though the mooving platforms doesn't really carry the character so you have to keep walking on it...other thatn that it was pretty fun

Developer(+1)

Yeah, I wanted to add difficulty by having to move manually. But seeing that many prefer the platform to carry you, Im going to change it after the jam ends. Thanks for playing!

The game is a bit hard to play due to the lack of animations but pretty fun art style and soundtrack.

Developer

Thanks :)

The walking animation is class.

Developer

xD. Thanks for playing

Hey tihs was a fun game :D Now my feedback would be :

-When on moving platforms the character should move with the platform i kept falling becouse of that and it was a bit annoying :/

-Using a constant pixel size can make you game look better

-Ladders work a bit weird maybe adding a climbing animation can make them better :D

Other then these i liked how you included puzzle mechanics. Overall good work :D

Developer

I´m going to improve the stairs, and going to add animation for climbing and jumping. I´m also going to nerf the platform, so it is easier to jump there and so it carries you. Thanks for the feedback!

this was fun

Developer

Thanks :)

I like graphics style, sounds and music.

Jump from ladder to moving platform was to hard to me.

Developer

I think I´m going to nerf it since it is pretty hard compared to the rest of the level. Thanks for playing!

Nice idea! The game was really fun to play, but the visuals could use a little work. If you want to improve the look, I would highly recommend keeping a constant pixel size. If all the pixels are the same size, It will make everything feel much more a part of the same world. Otherwise, cool game!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. I will definitely use it!
