Fun game, mate!
I liked the idea you had, and the physics, though it felt kind of laggy. I can't rate neither sounds nor music as there were none :(
Overall, interesting game, quite fun to explore the mechanics even though it was a bit hard to cut all the necessary connections, maybe you should visualize where you can cut in some way, that would surely make it easier.
RIP Chad...literally :D
Cool game thing!
That was an oddly relaxing and calming experience. Great visuals too. Seeing how I was able to beat every level by sometimes discarding the entire jellyfish, I assume this is meant to be more of an experience than a game. It was still awesome though. ^_^
Yeah originally I was going to make it 10 levels long getting harder and harder were cutting away the white parts would score you negative points. But then I saw people just liked to play with the physics and also there was 1000+ entries so just pivoted to two minutes of playing.
Interesting original concept:)
Check mine out too:) https://dezilim.itch.io/shrink-me
May I ask how did you implement the mesh which seems to react to the forces?
Smooth and satisfying really want some more jelly fishes to cut
Very soothing experience, although the audio was super low for me. Would like to see more of this!
Yeah I messed up on the audio lol, gamejam life.
So cooool! Love the effect, just amazing and so much fun to mess around. I think maybe a cursor and some effect to show where the cut is would be even cooler but overall, this is a very unique and fun little game! Great job!
Interesting game, but i think it's too short and very easy
Loved the physics! The concept is very original and interesting. I would love to see it expanded!

Really funny game with impresive physics. It feels so much satisfying cutting that big red jellyfish. Great job.
I loved the physics simulation so much, was fun playing around with the jellyfishes (did feel bad for all the poor lil jelly fishes :c ) finna become a marine biologist now xD. Fun experience 10/10
This game looks really nice and the simulation is cool, but the gameplay could have used a bit more complex goals. Simply cutting without reservation or aim was enough for all three screens. I would have like being incentivized to take my time with it more.
It's a really cool simulation. I'd love to see a tutorial or video on how this was made!
This was very fun to play around with! The physics simulation is so beautiful and mesmerizing :)
(Somehow I didn't get any sound while playing it ?)
Cheers and congrats on the game !
I think it is just very quiet, I had to turn my volume all the way up
Ops, you're right it's too quiet when I test it on another machine : (
great simulation
i feel bad for those jellyfishes
very cool, they don't teach you this in medical school...
I love how minimalistic this is!
Less is more indeed!
All code, graphics & music were created by me over three days. I tried to design most things along the theme of "More is Less":
For visuals/mechanics, the jellyfish is made of thousands of particles with twice as many bonds knitting them all together. However in chain reaction, the thousands of particles become something less, a single jellyfish creature.
For sound design, the cutting sound effect is bubble wrap pops, scissors sliding through paper, water bottle sloshing and white noise all layered and sent through phasers, tape delays & low pass filters. The sound is made of many parts but all together becomes something less.
The game can't run in browser as the physics needed to be native. But can check out the gameplay here if don't feel like downloading it:

Insanely satisfying! Ran perfectly as well. Nice work.
