Simple, short but good game. Game is little hard until you learn which part gives which advantage but after that game become very enjoyable. There would be different sprites for different parts (not just color difference) to seperate them in my opinion. Overall good game though. Well done...
Thank you for the feedback. We ran out of time to make each power-up look a bit more distinct but we'll definitely fix that going forward! Thank you for playing!
Simple but well done. A little too easy once I've got the shield ! Perhaps add some hardly destroyable asteroid to challenge us. Some more polish will be welcomed. This was fun to play and the Galaga style always works on me. Well done.
Great feedback! We only noticed that the shield was bugged out after we submitted it, it now has a cooldown timer if it gets hurt too much. We'll definitely work hard to make it more balanced and challenging going forward. Thank you for playing!
This was pretty simple but cool! I feel like you have a lot of potential here with the size mechanic.
Thank you for playing! Glad you enjoyed it!
Really good take on the classic space shooter. I was fun to play and I liked the take on the theme. My only suggestion would be to add a down period so I could read and understand which power ups I wanted to keep and get rid of. I found myself needing to be more focused on trying to shoot and move rather than dumping items.
Great feedback. We'll definitely have to rebalance how often you get the pickups/giving the player small periods of lull to go through their inventory and clean it up between the waves on enemies. Thank you for playing the game!
Retro vibes on point!
Retro vibes all the way! Thank you for playing!
Really fun shooter! I think it would've been cool to have a little more enemy variety though. But overall, I really liked it :)
Thank you for playing! We'll defiantly work on adding in some different enemies in the future. Thank you for the feedback.
Fun game! Great work :)
Thank you for playing! Glad you had a good time!
Very fun game! Really like the mechanic of dropping items!
Good job! Maybe you can check out mine :)
Glad you enjoyed the game! Gonna go check out yours right now!
Really fun :)
Thank you for playing!
Id love to give you a rating, but my game is lagging, dont know if its my browser or some bug. The art looks very nice and the sounds are good though!
Strange, we'll investigate and try to fix whatever is stopping you from playing. Thank you for giving the game a try!
Was a cool game! Didn't realise at first that the abilities were shown on the right, so I didn't really understand the pickups, would be cool if there was some more visual feedback on changing weapons i.e. different bullet colours for example!
Overall though, nice work :)
Great idea! We work on better visual cues for the add-ons so it's a bit more clear to the user what the power-up does. Thank you for playing!
Criticism - Due to the fast paced nature of a shmup, it made it very hard to understand and decide what powerups did and decide which ones you wanted to keep.
Support - The gameplay was fun, with it being a shmup and all, and I liked the different enemy patterns.
Thanks for the feedback! We definitely need to work on the power-up visual clarity and maybe introduced periods of lull to allow the user to flip through their inventory. Thank you for playing!
It was a bit hard to know what each add-on did, but other than that it's very intuitive, nice!
Yea we definitely have to work on better visuals for the add-ons in a future patch. Thank you for playing!
Wow, growing in size makes you more vulnerable smart!
Thank you!
Wow! What great graphics. Really cool arcade space invader type game. Im honestly astonished at how good this looks. Also, the gameplay is really nice.
Thank you, glad you had a good time with the game!
Nice job, the whole game is put together and polished very well. Feels like it would fit perfectly at an old school arcade place.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the game!
Fun game, getting more powerful but making it harder to dodge was a pretty good interpretation of the theme. Though I never really could tell what each powerup I was picking up did, considering they often came in large amounts, so it just seemed easier to eject them all and dodge until the end.
It looked really good, especially that menu!
Thank you for the great feedback. We definitely need to work on visual clarity when it comes to which power-up does what and maybe change the spawning style for them. Definitely will keep the ideas in mind for the future, glad you had fun!
Nice game! The visuals are great.
It would be even better if you could simplify or enlarge the screen.
Great feedback, we'll definitely work on resolutions setting post-jam. Thank you for playing!
i dont understand what i need to do exept shoot things. how does this fit the theme? overall it was fun
Thank you for playing! The idea is that the more power-ups you collect the easier target you would have been, thus you have to decide to either keep the power-ups or eject them and become smaller. Our balancing wasn't the greatest so you get really easily overpowered but in the future becoming large should have more impact on your survivability.
oh, now, when i get it, the games really fun! Try to explain it in a post jam version, or maybe use this as feedback for next time.
For sure, a tutorial level explaining the mechanics is something we'll include in a post-jam update. Thanks for the feedback!
It was fun. I think UI graphics can be a little bit better. SFX needs to improve as well - the explosion sound wasn't that great.
Overall I think it as good potential.
Great feedback, we'll tweak the SFX in a future update. Thank you for playing!
