overall, its a cool premise and fun to drive around and looks nice! but i struggled with the camera angle and the car flipping out in weird ways if i got close to the edge. is the ground a 2d plane or something? that could be why it has such a weird reaction

Its great to see 3d games in the jam! It was a nice concept, however I'd rather if the camera was fixed behind the vehicle, and the truck was a bit easier to control. Overall, nice work!
I really like the concept, but the game needs a bit of work. The camera mostly. The camera very sensitive and slight movement spins it around usually resulting in death. I also kept bumping into the plant that was on the road, not sure if it was meant to be an obstacle or just environmental flourish but I had a really hard time moving past it. You got a really good foundation here just gotta work on it a bit more and it'll be something great! Keep it up!
Hey thanks a lot for your review! We shall fix the camera issue soon, we really couldnt do more as we had only 5 days to create this! The tree was a last minute collider issue, and that shall be fixed soon and we are planning to add more tracks with different difficulties along with this track! Please do follow me on itch do be notified when the game gets updated! Thanks!
I like the take on the theme, it's a good way to incentivise people to drive at really fast speeds, which could make for a really good game where it's like a 'keep driving and nobody explodes situation' where the player has to continue driving the car while dodging things otherwise they will explode. Unfortunately the controls for the game were a bit hard to work with, it seems the mouse controls were inversed and the car did not control very well. I think if you were to refine this is a bit, it could make for a really good game! Nice work!
Good effort bro! I had some troubles with the controls but find my video below so you can see for yourself haha

Hey thanks a lot for streaming my game in the video! A lot of them mentioned the camera issue and found the game a bit too challenging! We shall fix that pretty soon tho! We couldnt do a lot of play testing given that fact that this game was created in 5 Days and not a week! Also follow me on itch to be notified when this game gets and update :D
Also funny that we had chosen the same music lol
Great job, and the theme was well implemented! The controls felt a bit wonky for such a fine-movement-required track, but I was able to figure some stuff out for it to work well. Great job!
The concept seemed like it could go somewhere, though it was backwards in terms of the fuel mechanic to me. When the menu came up it seemed interesting and interactive.. not so much afterwards. Finer point sof feedback:
- The map was seemingly buggy...? Or just empty which was a little weird. Plus some of the gas cans you're supposed to grab were seemingly just over the void. And the couple I was able to make it too were floating. I'm not entirely sure what was going on with that but it definitely lead to a weird mixup of the models and such. Which makes sense since asset packs and such were used, though I'm not sure why they aren't directly linked.. since I'm pretty sure that was in the rules...
- The controls were very imprecise, the turning specifically, especially combined with the camera (which I'll mention separately) lead to a lot of trouble attempting to turn corners and deal with the floatiness behind the movement. It's hard to pin down specifically why the movement was so hard to control, I guess maybe the speed of turns? I haven't really messed with car movement myself so I can't pin it down.
- Camera, besides being inverted which was very weird is spawned on a weird direction parallel to the car, doesn't move with the car (orientation wise) and is overly sensitive, as other people have said. Not to mention for some reason moving your mouse up and down zooms in around the car depending where it's at which I don't quite understand?
The base concept, while reversed seems like it could go somewhere, but comboing the bugs, issues with controls and the fact the game seems to be impossible to "win" or at least pass the second tree due to it having colliders for some reason. It doesn't really feel like a close to finished or finished game. With some polish and a lot of fixing it could be interesting?
Hey we created this game in 5 days, and the mechanic was lesser the speed more is the fuel consumed that makes the player to go faster! Due to UV issues, we had a weird look, The tree issue shall be fixed pretty soon, and the fuel was kept at the corner with toughness at mind, we might reduce the toughness soon!We did use an asset for the car and it has been clearly mentioned in credits according to the rules of the jam

i really liked the interactive 3d menu, i will steal this idea lol, congrats for making it to the end of the jam!!! the game is cool, but the camera made it really hard to play i has a lot of sensitivity (i would tone it down a little), i don't know if the inverted axis are intentional or not, but if not, you could reverse them by just putting a negative sign in the value of the axis for the camera movement vector. great game for a first jam, i hope you and your pal had enjoyed the challenge. cheers!!!
The controls are nice, and it feels good making progress, but I have encountered a bug..
The collision bugged, and I was sent flying into space in insane speeds...
But on the bright side, no one can beat my high score :D
Aside from the bugs, great game! Enjoyed it a lot!
Like the soundtrack, I think the camera controls is a little weird though.
Controlling the car was satisfying, needs more work on camera movement and physics though. The concept has potential with more polishing, good job :)
Camera controls aside, I found this game very fun but challenging at the same time! Good job
This game is pretty challenging, and in some places unfair (But that may be becauese Im bad at it).
Firstly what I like about it: The car model looks really good, the sounds are also pretty solid. The immersive menu where you choose options by driveing through them looks amazing.
Secondly, you should work on: the camera as it is weird to look around, the placement of some canisters was questionable (for me they were really hard to reach)
Overall, this game has a big potential, all the ingrediens are them and some of them are really good, but some of them need more work.
This is a really fun but challenging game
The highest i made was 8m
Great Job
my teammate was the one who did it
here it is if you want to check it out : https://i-am-penguin.itch.io/maze-of-the-neglected-triangle
Fun game! I'm terrible at it even though it became easier when realizing how the camera worked. Like the concept but the roads were really thin so it was a bit to difficult for me.
Great game!
Hey! Sorry it took me a while to get to my PC, but just played your game. That was pretty fun! Reminded me a lot of driving a warthog in Halo. Only part I had issues with was the camera movement. Maybe my mouse is too sensitive, but it just rotated way too fast. I also wish the roads were walled in or something. I really enjoyed driving your car a lot, but kept having 1 wheel slightly fall off during sharp turns. Maybe even just making the course a bit wider would do the trick. Either way, you did great at the car's handling. Good job overall!
The concept is really cool, since it makes you want to go as fast as possible, but the physics were pretty janky and the camera controls were strange. Could be really fun with more polish.
