  • sometimes the camera was a little wonky on the 2nd boss but overall I liked this concept. the opening made me laugh for sure. I run out of time but the bosses were really cool! A FRIDGE SPIDER AND AN OVEN CHICKEN?!?! wild! since you're a microwave trying to get all the powers of the appliances... at least that's how I took it

Game's take on the theme
Every boss you defeat has you integrating their abilities into your skillset, your enemies themselves are 'makeshifts' as live experiments

This game looks beautiful! I really love the 2d and 3d visuals! the gameplay is a little rigid but not game breaking, I had a couple of bugs, during the first boss the spider stopped moving when I got too close to the pillar on the left and from there I just kept attacking to beat it, when I got closed to the door the first time a UI text appeared saying that I needed a chip, but it didn't disappeared when I moved away to get the chip. Overall I think is a good entry, Good Job

excellent visuals, well made art and presentations, I quite like the vibe of the game too, but the game feel and balance was kinda off, don't get me wrong the controls are good and game concept works well but it just fells off, kinda heavy or not balanced but other than that everything is good, excellent job!

The games and the intro are beautiful! You made an incredible job but the gameplay doesn't follow, the attacks and animations are slow and rigids :(

Great job on the game! The boss design was very well done and I really liked the different abilities that got combined onto your character. Graphics were great as well. Had a lot of fun battling the bosses even though I cheesed the second boss with a bugged unlimited beam attack :)

Doesnt work on Vine / Linux Mint for me ... :-(

Developer

yea sorry we just didn't have time for that... after the jam is over we'll add a build for linux :)

I really love this game's concept! Immediately the amazing artwork really drew me in, and it definitely nails the theme! I did start to have issues with the controls and camera at points, mostly with the camera getting caught in weird places, but other than that this game is really fun visually. The boss designs are super cool, and the ability to see info about them in the menu is a very nice touch!

Unfortunately, at least when I played, I didn't have any audio. I don't know if this is a bug or if the game doesn't have any sound, but if it doesn't I think some added sound effects or music could help give the player some more feedback during gameplay. That definitely doesn't stop the game from being fun though! I had a great time playing this and would love to see where it went if development continued.

thank you for the detailed comment!

as you might know yourself, when you're on "game jam mode" not sleeping three days straight you sometimes forget a few things.

we did upload the full soundtrack to YouTube and it's on our itch page so feel free to listen its really cool and I'm not biased at all haha
