i love the idea and the aesthetic you guys are going for. like a lot of people have mentioned, the mouse sensitivity was really high and made it hard for me to play, especially because I'm using a trackpad, but overall I really like the concept
Thank you for the feedback, we will update it after the jam ends
I was going to say this is an alright entry for a 1 month game jam, but I just noticed that this is actually made by 13 people as mentioned above. 13 PEOPLE IN ONE MONTH? With that amount of manpower and time frame I would expect a very polished and working demo of Overwatch 4 or something. I guess you guys made everything from scratch (scripts, 3d models, ...) and that is very cool to do, but I think you should have at least utilized already made basic character controller scripts since the rules says "Majority of the code must be made during the jam" so boss code and other stuff would be the majority. Good job on the music tho thats is what I liked the most.
Indeed, all done from scratch, except the font...
Also, not all of those listed in the credits could spend all their time on the game...
The game is pretty cool and the theme is here but i vomit because of the camera :(
Thank you for the feedback, we'll fix it after the jam
Nice game and concept, but the camera felt out of control. I found in past projects that the mouse speed can feel very different in the web build compared to the windows build. One way to counter this is to have a settings scroll bar for mouse sensitivity so the game feel can be platform independent.
thank you for the feedback!! yes it is different in the web and windows version but only marginally. well soon update with host of improvements.
Good work, But The camera speed made me dizzy o_O
Yeah the sensitivity turned out to be high. We are improving the game now, soon well be able to give you a revamped version. thank you for taking out the time to review our game.
Tell me when you fix this :~|
it will surely be fixed after the jam vote ends in another week or so
it's an interesting idea but unfortunately as other have said is a little unfinished, the mouse sensitivity is a little too high making it very difficult to play, the models are good tho, Good job!
We appreciate your feedback, some of the players have sensitivity problems, some don't, i personally have 3000 dpi and works completely fine while others have 800 and have a very big sensitivity, we are looking into it.
while the gameplay leaves much to be desired, I enjoyed the game quite a lot, so it was super fun especially the art style, the whole idea of trash heap was interesting thus I truly think it has its merit, I enjoyed the juxtaposition of the music on the vibe of the game so overall, good job!
Thank you for the feedback, we truly appreciate it!
I fought the tutorial dummy for about 5 min before I realized I had to go to the real boss. The boss attacks were unique and made the fights feel interesting. Nice Job!
Thank you for the feedback
I love how you put your brilliant idea to this game, THIS GAME IS UNIQUE !!! I love your idea !! I appreciate this !!
Thank you, we got a little to ambitious while designing the game and that s why it might feel unpolished.
It's a good idea, and good use of the theme, but still requires a lot of polish.
Also- this might be a problem with my hardware, but the mouse sensitivity seemed super high!
Thank you for your feedback. We also noticed the problem with sensivity, It was to late tho...
Interesting idea. Felt like the music was out of place in the trash heap, it was fun music though. The slap attack sound also didn't quite seem to fit the application. I found that every time I went to attack the pumpkin boss, I bounced back, not landing a hit. Fun idea though, thanks for sharing it!
Thank you for your feedback, you need to dodge the dummy until he has fallen down or is waiting to launch a tuna can or has the weapon stuck to the ground
I think the mechanics and the concepts are definitely there, but it does kind of feel like there was no time to polish the game to completion... Maybe it might have been on my end but it felt like there was a lot of knockback from the first boss that made it a bit hard to defeat..! If you are planning to work on this more, I'm definitely looking forward to an update!
Thank you for your feedback, you need to dodge the dummy until he has fallen down or is waiting to launch a tuna can or has the weapon stuck to the ground
I'm sorry guys but this feels very unfinished and unpolished. I'm not sure about anything and only few things makes sense. What are the little white balls when destroying piles of garbage? Is the first boss supposed to be unkillable? Why can I sometimes shoot on the second boss? What am I supposed to do against the third boss? So many questions
Indeed. Someone forgot to switch the balls for the tuna cans they should have been...
I haven't managed to kill either of them myself actually...
