I tried playing without reading comments, and after reading comments. Perhaps I'm slow, but knowing the bubble gives you clues helped so much, and made the game fun for me. The puzzle element has real potential! You talked about a tutorial in one of your replies; I think it would really elevate your game.

I also like how the background changes. I'm not sure if there were gradual changes, but I noticed it at the final boss.

Since there are only a few days left, I am rating and giving feedback to games with few ratings. I would appreciate it if you rated my game too. No need to leave comments, unless you feel like it.

Thanks for the experience =]

Good game! The battle mechanics were interesting. I didn't fully understand how they worked in my playtime, but it was a novel approach to turn-based combat.

I guess when I picked a character I thought that was me, but I think I choose my enemy. it had something good about it and something bad about it overall 50/50 2.999/5

Yeah the player character wasn't given much attention. I can see how that might've been confusing.
I think that's fair, thanks for playing!

3.0 after 2nd review!

we lost the majority of our jam ratings if you have a chance to re-save and or re-rate I am making sure to re-rate and review your game a 2nd/3rd time and make sure I gave yours a solid review and or rating! Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience if you read this in time!

I had difficulty understanding what was going on? Does the text above the enemies' heads give a hint as to what they will cast? And do I have to choose the right combination to counter it?

The approach is very interesting because you only have a limited amount.

If you guide the player a bit more, it could become a really cool game.

This was definitely a concern, we didn't figure out a tutorial in time. You've got it right though. The cloud bubble is an indicator of the enemy's move, and you build your own move to go against it. Trying to beat as many of the parts of their move as you can.

I'm glad you think so too, I think doing the original idea justice with more options and a better tutorial could be pretty fun!

The game is interesting, I like the way you combine matches by turns with resource management. I would recommend adding a visual way to know the bosses differences (idk if theres any) so the player can make more strategies around that.
