Very ambitious ideas and incredible character art! Unfortunately, the player control is very floaty, and it is difficult to tell where the ground colliders are. But I think with more iteration and polish on the control feel, you will have a truly unique experience on your hands! Great start!

Ah I get it, it’s a “Boss” rush, very clever! The game felt a little slippery, controls-wise. I think when repairing an item, you might want to set player velocity to zero. Otherwise, if you accidentally hold left/right for 0.1 seconds after pressing repair, your character just keeps sliding and eventually exists repair range.

I wasn’t sure exactly what was happening in the second boss; the first time I did it alone, but when I died I had an NPC helping me the second time and two music tracks were playing at once.

I think your take on the theme is really clever! The art is also quite solid. I love the shadowy foggy look, it’s really well-done. Nice!

Like someone said, this game could be amazing with 2-4 player co-op, playing solo was fun as well, creative take on boss rush but the player's movement needs some work.

This was a very fun to look at game so great job with the visuals, I couldn't figure out anything within the time limit but that probably was a me problem. Maybe a tutorial level would work before the main ones?

I like the rough, punky sort of artstyle, and it fits well with the visual level designs too. I can perfectly see how this game could be made as a 4 player co-op, and I really like that you did something different with the boss rush theme. My only complaint is that the platforming was a bit difficult at times, mostly because of the jump physics and the game could use a bit more clarity about the character’s abilities and tasks, but overall great work!

Art was really well done, I like your take on the theme. My only piece of feedback would be to spend sometime on your player controller. If you are going to ask me to do tight platforming with a time limit I am gonna need really tight controls. But great work! I had fun, thanks for making this.

Developer

Thanks for the kind feedback. Yeah your are right, the controller needs a refactoring. One of the main things I learned from this jam is, that character controller for platformers are heavy as hell, especially when using slopes and a command pattern to record the movement.

Awesome theme app and some interesting visuals. The gameplay became overwhelming with a lot of information after the second character, it will be easier to understand if a character who can only fix one thing has the same color as the box and what he can fix then it will be easy to associate. And add more control to jump and player

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. Yes its true, we had lots of plans how to work with the different skills and how to tell the player, but then the month end and other things had a higher priority  ^^.

Lighting is pretty good. Good use of vector graphics too. Thanks for reviewing my game too btw (:

Really different approach to the game jam! The visuals are amazing, the have a lot of style. Be proud because its a really good job for the first jam :)

The style is very interesting.
But, I didn't understand how to play hahah.
I watched the video on YouTube, very interesting!!
Good job.

I like the concept of fixing things in the levels... we share a design mindset there. :)

Developer

Haha, yeah. In the early stages we had the similar plan to have screen filling bosses like the robot in your game. Tomorrow I'll test your game, I'm very excited

Everything looks polished, good art.

IMO:not boss rush

I liked the art and overall polish of the game and how much easier the level is after your first try where you map everything out.  The owl seemed a tad sporadic but the lizard felt a lot more fair since it gave just enough time to dodge any attacks.  Only complaint was getting stuck against walls and then getting hit.  Overall nice job!

I really enjoyed this goofy and fun.... it got harder a lot quicker than expected from level 1 to level 2. lot more going on. Not sure how far it goes....got through those two levels. 3.8/5

Gave it the solid 4/5 good job here !

Hey there, I am trying to get other to re-submit their reviews for my game if possible...it was deleted and removed from the Jam on accident based on a technicality which was solved between the Jam Host and a particular asset used in the game...please if you have time, energy, and/or generosity to re-saved your ratings/reviews for the game. I am going through and re-saving yours given my browser kept your rating saved data on my end...but it looks like I lost all 73 reviews and ratings from my end....  :( best of luck to you in the Jam

Sorry for the inconvenience if you have a chance to rate/re-rate
