A very pleasing game. I love the effect when you smash the ground after a high jump, really satisfying. The bossfight was great too. I liked it.
Whoa!! That was really creative! Movement felt real solid, and the boss fight went pretty smoothly. Couldn't beat him but was real fun to fight!! Nice game!!

Really sweet mechanic, I loved the boss fight! If I could give one piece of feedback it's that I wish you done more damage. Making killing the enemy's more satisfying. Really solid entry, well done.
Cool concept. I like the box smash idea, and the execution was good. Experience with other "chargeup" mechanics made it really hard for me not to try to start charging the next jump while I was in the air and stomping down prematurely. The boss fight really took it to another level

i enjoyed it! Boss fight was awesommeee. I wish the box would do a little more damage when you smash down. could have been very satisfying to smash down into a bunch of enemies and instakill them instead of standing next to them and loading your attack a few times.

I love the art of this game, and it has got a really great concept, I think you could add that spikes can kill enemies instantly, since you can push them away with your stomping :)

Great game, fits perfectly with the theme and art was very well done and it does take some time for me to get used to the controls but once i did, i had a blast. Great entry!

I really loved that you play as a box LMAO, made me crack up. The game is fun, I love the diversity the game offers while still having simplistic controls. The visuals are okay. Not my favorite, but still above average I would say. Great job overall for submitting this <3

Yeah you are right, I tried to make a simple character, because drawing for me takes a little bit too much time, and later I just caught up in the process and made not so squared enemies and I didn't even realize how the main character differs from the game :D
I love how the gameplay feels and how the game looks, but you could work on sounds and music a little more
Thanks for the feedback. I have never tried doing any kind of sound effects/music before. I always use free assets for that. But because this jam required to make everything by yourself I tried to do my best. I will try to improve more in this area!

Very good game! I like art, it's very good. I don't kinda understand why player is a box... Audio is great, I liked the tune. Boss is hard with those controls but overall I liked it!

To be honest, I am not that great as an artist, so I thought that making the player as a box would be much less work than making a lot of animations for the main character :D
It's my first time making any kind of sound effects/music, so I am glad you liked it!
Nice game. Had some problems with moving right after smash, but everything else is great
Thanks for playing! Maybe your cursor was too close to the cube after landing, and that's why it was not moving? I would love to hear when the problem occurred because I tried to make cube's movement as responsive as possible, so It would be nice to know what mistakes I did.
I think it was related to cube jumping when I released the button after smash (Hit == click, not hold in my gamer brain). But when I got used to it, it was not a problem
