How does your game fit the theme?
You dive deeper into an office through holes in the floor until you reach Heck.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I made everything except the sound/music which is from Pixabay.com, as well as the toon shader and custom font off of the Unity Asset Store.

This is so creative and well put together. More people need to experience this game and its true-to-life representation of cat ownership.

Thanks for playing! I think the cat was one of the best additions I added to the game.

Cat on a roomba, interesting. Everything here is very well-made, cute game.

I love the cat model, fits well with the tone of the game, the upgrade system is neat, the movement is surprisingly good, considering that it is all done via one button,  SFX and music were on point. Only things I'd change are either making the text a bit faster or simply adding a "skip" button and, not really a required addition but just as an aesthetic choice, making the  mouse cursor as a custom cross-hair (just to complement the "you are shooting here" idea).

Thanks for the feedback! I wasn't sure whether the text was too slow or not, but looking at it again, I can see it being too slow. The cursor idea is a great idea! Most of my games hide the cursor, so I hadn't thought of doing that.

Very fun game, but theme implementetion is ccontroversial.

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks for playing! How do you think the theme implementation is controversial?

A very original idea! I don't know if it's genius or madness but... I love it! :D

Bravo!

Cool idea! It was fun cuting things with the knife, this has a nice feel to it! Great job :3

Dang! That's one sinister cat! What an experience Haha! Had fun scooting around in the office on a roomba, bought some cool hats and then got defeated by the "boss" :D

Hooray for Cat-Shooter Games! We shall rule this Jam.

Impressive job with the destructible items!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! Glad you liked the destructibles, it took me a while to get them to a point I liked.

A pretty fun game! though i sometimes clipped through walls and fell off because i was so fast lol

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! Which rooms were you clipping out of? There's also a load last checkpoint button in the Not Pause menu in case you get stuck outside the map.

It was in the first flooded floor (3-1 i believe), it was in one of the rooms where almost everything is flooded, i was shooting at the employees from the wall since i couldn't get to them with the knife, but i had the double guns upgrade and i think 2 firing speed hats and i just randomly clipped through the wall lol.

I wasn't getting stuck, the game automatically did the game over screen when that happened

And no, there weren't any windows in that room

Very fun and creative game. Can't believe you made this in one week :O

Developer(+1)

Thanks, and I can't either, it was really close to not being done on time.
