The art design was really good! I think the game could've been fleshed out more. I didn't see much variation in what was being thrown at the player as they continue falling. I also found that not inputting anything did not punish me as I continued following unscathed. I'm not sure if I was missing something. Overall, good job!

look good

I dig the break beat, and I think this game could feel really great with proper level design.

It seemed the dash was frustratingly rigid, but it was satisfying hacking and slashing on the way down.

The art is hella sweet too.

Good job making such a cool game in 1 week!

Wow! The game is great. Graphics, movement mechanics, music, idea - all at the highest level. Cool!

Developer

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it so much!

Cool game, and kind of original

Animations are great and sounds too !

Great idea, mostly great implementation - I'm having a hard time dashing to a desired orb, especially if there are several enemies nearby, I seem to be dashing between them even when aiming in the opposite direction. Art and sound are point. Overall - pretty solid.

Developer

Thanks for the review! I too noticed what you say about not dashing to the desired orb. I think it would help if dashing to enemies and orbs were 2 different buttons. But I came with the idea after the submision time was over :/

I like the animation, VFX, and the fact that all the code and most of the assets were done :D nice job. Once you understand the mechanics, it's pretty cool!

once i got a hang of the mechanics it was really fun could definitely see it as an endless runner at the current build.

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thanks! Yup, right now is basically an endless runner. We'd like to turn it into a rogue like in a theoretical future version tho

Once you get into it, it's very likeable :) Good job!

Developer

Thanks!

Cool graphics and a swift gameplay - took some tries to get into the mechanics, but felt nicely implemented and kind of balanced. Good work!

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, the mechanics are not really explained but we trusted players will figure it out.

Cool mechanics! At first I didn't understand the dash system, but eventually got it haha I feel that the player loses too abruptly. Nice designs!

Developer

Thanks for the review! Yep, my friends made me aware of the abrupt death screen, it was after the jam submissions closed tho haha
