How does your game fit the theme?
It is about a diver who dives to the bottom depths of the ocean for treasure.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
We wrote all the code and made the SFX, but the art and music are pre-made free assets that we found online.

pretty nice game, i like the movement and the enemies. the game does seem to lag in the browser, but that's probably my browser not really handling games well in linux. there also two bugs where I cant restart with R and that it sometimes gets stuck while loading the game. would be also nice if I was able to go down faster with the down arrow key or S key. also it would be nice to have a main menu, its a bit weird having the game immediately start after loading. other than that I like the game, nice job!
I'm not sure if the assets came pre-made with the lighting as well, but very good use of lighting to distinguish enviro objects with an without colliders! Also, everything was paired together very nicely, from the graphics to the audio, and so on. The UI was also decent:) I was lacking a bit more direction and a clearer sense of where my objective is, but otherwise it was a very nice game c:
Really like the song! very inmersive, I just thing the character should move faster up and down. Great job!
The tile set could have been put together better, there were a number of places where it looked off. I think the movement controller would benefit from being able to hold down the W key for moving upward. I found that to be a bit taxing. I think the music and sound effects were well picked, and the game was ultimately quite fun.

Thanks for playing and thanks very much for the feedback. I was not too sure about how the upward movement should be in an underwater level and tried to copy old school platformers. I do now realize that maybe making the lateral movement a bit easier would be better. I might make some edits to this after the jam.
That's a nice one. Seems we had similar ideas^^
I like your "tap tap" solution for going upwards. The fishes feel a bit too "overpowered" for my taste, and maybe would be helpful to have some little checkpoints or so, so that so don't have to start from very top each time.
But all in all a nice game, easy understandable controls and very great atmosphere that fits the theme perfectly!
For the most part a chill game, but I did find the bombardment of fish around the treasure a bit cheap, especially since they are way more mobile than you. I died with the treasure on screen about 5 times, which was frustrating. Eventually I learned that most of the air bubbles are basically traps and you are better off avoiding them lol. In spite of my frustration with the fish speed, I did find the player movement to be understandable and well executed. Would appreciate if you could check out my game too!
Nice music, nice atmosphere. If you have time, please take a look at my game, thanks.
